Bradley Cooper Steps Out with Daughter at 48 in Similar Looks & Holding Hands - She Reminds Him of Dad He Lost

On March 5, 2023, Bradley Cooper was seen on an outing in New York City (NYC). The actor wasn't alone as he was accompanied by his daughter and only child, Lea De Seine, then five, whose hand he held for her safety.
The then 48 year old "The Guardians of the Galaxy" star was frequently seen walking in the city with his child, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, then 37. The father-daughter pair were dressed casually for their stroll.

In the past, the "A Star is Born" actor was seen being a responsible parent by being there when his daughter was done with school each day. He even carried her items when he walked her home.

Bradley and Lea were matched up in their clothes as he wore a plain light gray T-shirt, dark gray pants, and a dark green jacket. He completed his casual look with black boots and a dark blue beanie.

His accessories were a pair of dark sunglasses, he seemed to have a thin beard growing, and appeared to be carrying a backpack. His daughter also kept warm in a green hooded coat, a plaid scarf, and gray leggings.
The two held hand as they walked down the sidewalk. Lea's parents started dating in 2015, before their relationship fizzled four years later in 2019 but the former couple managed to continue co-parenting their daughter.
In February 2023, Bradley and Shayk were seen together with their child. The star was often seen carrying his daughter's clothes or her cute little bags while fetching her from school and he once confessed that she reminded him of someone else who was dear to him.

In 2018, Bradley described having a child and a family of his own at age 43 as a "miracle" and something he'd "always dreamt of." He confessed that parenthood opened him up more to each day and being present.

The following year, the actor shared how having a family had changed everything for him. He described Lea as "incredible" and that he often saw his father, Charles (who passed away in 2011), in her before explaining further:
“I can’t believe I’m gonna admit this, but I had moments when … I was in the room with her, I would say, ‘Dad?’”

Shayk's ex-boyfriend also revealed that there were moments where his daughter looked just like his late father, before brushing it off by saying he watched too many movies. During a 2019 "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" appearance Bradley said being a father had allowed him to "embrace his childlike self" without any fear of judgment.
He could play with toys all day without having to question if that was weird. Lea's father even watched cartoons, which he loved, continuously without felling like he was wasting his life away.

In 2022, the "Avengers: Endgame" star shared how everything was "shaded by, or brought into glorious colors," by him getting to be a parent to an incredible human being. He said sometimes one had a breakthrough with a script, a wonderful thing happen, of an amazing moment on set or in the editing room.
However, in the past she [Irina Shayk] admitted to suffering from "mom guilt" daily.
However, each day with his child was like 40 of those joyous moments, and he wasn't exaggerating but telling the truth. Someone else who got to experience Lea was Bradley's mother whom he'd taken into his home, but Shayk had some qualms she struggled with as they co-parented.
Lea’s Mother and Her Guilt While Co-parenting with Bradley
In 2021, Shayk revealed that she was focused on her daughter with Bradley, whom she described as the most amazing father. The model and "The Hangover" actor were often photographed together with Lea as friendly exes.

She revealed their daughter didn't see her as a supermodel but just as her mother. Lea's mother explained how she'd never understood co-parenting because when she was with her daughter she was 100% a mother and when the child was with Bradley "he’s 100 percent her dad," adding:
"Co-parenting is parenting.”

However, in the past she admitted to suffering from "mom guilt" daily. Shayk said she was always checking in on her daughter and was hard on herself, before noting how everyone carried the same guilt.
Bradley's ex-girlfriend felt time passed quickly and that one had to try and live in the moment. The supermodel said she wasn't great at taking her own advice by she was working on it and was trying to let go and not be so hard on herself.
