In May 2023, Sienna Lalau spoke with Emily Haydel and JRE about her rise to prominence during her appearance on the "In My Feels" podcast. Sienna shared that part of what made a good dancer was their character, and she credited much of her own to her upbringing.

She was born and raised by Jeannie and Edward Lalau in Honolulu, Hawaii. The couple, who remain happily married, was integral to their daughter's growth, teaching her humility and to always be reliable.

They developed a loving relationship with Sienna, who has consistently expressed gratitude for their undying support. It took much sacrifice to uplift the dancer to promising heights, but it paid off. Jeannie and Edward have loudly and proudly celebrated her achievements.

Sienna's Mother, Jeannie Lalau, Was Initially Hesitant about Letting Her Daughter Move to LA

In March 2020, Sienna appeared on "The SupaflySua Podcast" to discuss her passion for dancing and her journey to stardom. She revealed that although her parents allowed her to relocate to Los Angeles, her mother was reluctant to let her go.

The mom of three confirmed this detail during the interview, saying, "[...] But to make the move? My husband was the one that actually had to force me to let her go." That same month, Sienna shared a heartwarming birthday tribute for Jeannie, writing:

"happy birthday mom, you are the most incredible woman. i'm in awe of the constant sacrifice and dedication you have made for our family....especially for me. (sic)"

"the fact that you believed in me so much to allow me to live out my dreams out here in LA with you, and on top of that sacrifice being with the rest of our family back home in hawaii, is something that i’ll ALWAYS be grateful for you’re forever my superhero mom! (sic)"

Jeannie also has an active social media presence where she boasts about her love and pride for Sienna and her husband. In January 2023, she celebrated Edward's birthday, calling him her "lovable, squeezable, charming, sweetest, funny, caring, and talented hubby."
