Osmond met her first husband, Steven Craig, when they were teenagers. The singer and basketball player tied the knot in 1982 when Osmond was 22. Not long after they married, they welcomed their son Stephen.

The singer grew up in show business, so performing was nothing new to her. However, after becoming a mother and getting married, she hit a wall with her career.

The frustration of thinking her career was over and people reiterating it to her took a toll on her marriage with Craig and eventually led to its end in 1985, just three years after they walked down the aisle.

Osmond experienced a whirlwind of emotions, from the excitement of marriage and motherhood to finding herself as a single mother who could hardly afford to care for her child.

Determined to make something out of her life, the "Paper Roses" singer decided to get up and work. She remembered purchasing multiple performance clothing and sewing sequins into them. Osmond and Blosil welcomed two children together and adopted five, but one of her sons, Michael, died at 19. The singer's relationship with Blosil did not end well, but looking back at it, the mother of eight believes she rushed into it.

The "Crazy Horses' singer admitted that she had not fully healed from the heartbreak of her first marriage and should have given herself more time alone. "You really need time on your own. And you need to know that you are a good person in order to find a good person," the singer advised.

Blosil and the country star divorced in 2007, and after surviving two heartbreaking divorces, Osmond swore not to get married again. "I never wanted to be married again. I was like, 'I'm fine, I'm good!'" she recalled.

Following her second divorce, Osmond focused on her family. Having grown up with many siblings, it is not surprising that the talk show host would want a big brood too.

And it did not matter that some were adopted. Whenever she speaks of her children Stephen, Jessica, Rachel, Michael, Brandon, Brianna, Matthew, and Abigail, she says they are all loved the same, adopted or biological.

Even when asked which one of her seven living children is adopted, Osmond replies, "I can't remember. There is no difference."

Steve Craig Became the Perfect Spouse and Doting Dad

Osmond and Craig rekindled their love after 26 years of being divorced. The talk show host revealed that they secretly dated for two years before having their intimate wedding in 2011.

The relationship was so undercover that even Osmond's children did not know. The mother of eight reasoned that she did not want anyone getting hurt if things did not work out.

The thought of giving their relationship a second try was ignited when Craig helped Osmond move into her new Las Vegas home. Marring Craig again was a full circle moment for the country star, "Nothing is an accident. I am a spiritual person. So [I believe] God has his timing." she said.

Craig came into her life and made everything better. After her last divorce, Osmond said her husband came into her life and put all the broken pieces together.

The couple married in 2021 in a private ceremony in Las Vegas and had the reception at their home. The singer could not have been happier to be married to Craig again. She expressed, "I am so happy and look forward to sharing my life with Stephen, who is an amazing man as well as a great father to my children."

Everyone in Osmond's family also loved the couple's reunion. Her brother Donny was especially happy for his sister. He expressed, "These two people are right for each other. My sister is so happy."

The proud brother said Osmond and Craig's love was like a Cinderella story, but above all else, Donny believed that Osmond deserved every ounce of happiness after everything she endured.

It has been 12 years since Osmond and Craig remarried, and the singer is still head over heels in love. She is equally happy with her big family.
