When you're married to the love of your life, every day is a good day. This is precisely how Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani feel about their marriage two years in.

Stefani and Shelton married on July 3, 2021, at the latter's Oklahoma ranch. Two years into their marriage, they remain happily in love with each other.

Shelton marked the special day with a photo from their wedding. They stood by their wedding cake, sharing a kiss. "Every day has been the best day since I met you," he wrote to caption the photo.

Like Shelton, the "Hollaback Girl" singer made sure to mark the special occasion with a touching video montage of their years as a couple. The video played with her new song "True Babe" in the background. The song is her first single in two years.

In May 2023, Stefani attended when her husband received his own Hollywood Walk of Fame star. During his acceptance speech, Shelton lovingly said:

"I kind of stopped checking things off my list of great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen, so this is just icing on the cake. I love you so much, and that's the great thing that's happened along this journey."

A month prior, Stefani received a message that she would be getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her ceremony is scheduled for 2024.

Stefani's Moving Vows for Shelton

When the lovely couple married each other in 2021, they wrote their own vows at the request of their officiant, Carson Daly. Shelton wrote his bride a song titled "We Can Reach the Stars."

The idea to write a song for Stefani came easy for Shelton, who knew his then-fiancée wouldn't expect it. The singer likened writing songs to a trip to the dentist, so he knew the fact that he did that would shock Stefani.

True enough, when Shelton released the song to the public, Stefani admitted it was "the most amazing beautiful gift I ever received." It was a touching, highly-appreciated gesture that she continues to treasure.

Shelton wrote the song with his good friend, Nashville songwriter Craig Wiseman. While it seems nothing could ever top vows that come in the form of a song, Stefani's vows took her groom's breath away.

Stefani's vows didn't come as a song. Instead, they were heartfelt words that touched Shelton so much that he once admitted the vows "absolutely slayed me."

Stefani spoke about Shelton's late brother and father in one part of her vows. It was so touching that Shelton said it was difficult to remember what else his wife said after that. "I'll never forget that feeling," he lovingly reminisced.

When Shelton was 14, his brother died in a tragic car accident at 24. Years later, in 2012, when Shelton was already a successful musician when his father, Dick, died.

Dick Shelton was hospitalized with pneumonia in December 2011. His health had been declining then, and he had a hard time.

Shelton's father passed away in January 2012 when Shelton was scheduled to go on tour. The singer canceled several tour dates to be with his family and mourn the heavy loss.

Shelton has accepted that he will never get over the deaths of his father and brother. Though there's a void in his life, he's gotten used to it over the years.

Shelton and Stefani first fell in love in 2015 on the set of "The Voice." Since then, they've collaborated on several hit songs and began publicly dating.

Though they have thriving careers, nothing comes close to their devotion to their marriage and children.

By October 2020, the pair got engaged. Shelton broke the news on Instagram amidst a difficult time for people worldwide. According to the "God's Country" singer, Stefani's "yes" saved his 2020.

During their wedding in July 2021, Stefani wore a custom Vera Wang gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her veil was a customized piece featuring the hand-embroidered names "Blake, Gwen, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo."

Nowadays, Shelton and Stefani prioritize their family over everything else. Though they have thriving careers, nothing comes close to their devotion to their marriage and children.

Stefani shares three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Shelton is a loving stepfather who treats the three boys like his own.

Their marriage is a new phase in Shelton's life. While he loves being a musician and a judge on the hit singing contest "The Voice," his career took a backseat when he started a family with Stefani.

He no longer chases accomplishments, nor does he set deadlines for the goals he wants to achieve. Instead, he works at a pace that works for their family.
