Shelton shared a picture of the two kissing at their wedding next to their wedding cake. Shelton captioned it: "Happy anniversary @gwenstefani!!!! Every day has been the best day since I met you."

A day after their anniversary, Shelton and Stefani shared scenes from their 4th of July celebrations. The singer posted a series of pictures with her husband enjoying fun times on a boat in the open sea. The couple were all smiles in their photos while enjoying olives together.

After the pair tied the knot in 2021, Shelton said he was feeling "settled" with his wife. He called Stefani his best friend and described their relationship as "so natural and so normal" that it felt like the easiest thing he had ever been a part of.

For Shelton, his wife is everything he needs and leans on. The "Rich Girl" singer also opened up about how she loves Shelton's relationship with her children.

Shelton Devote Himself to 3 Stepkids despite Stefani's Concerns

Stefani has three kids with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale —Kingston, 16, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 8. Shelton confessed that Stefani had doubts about the longevity and stability of their relationship because of her children's presence.

Shelton's love for his stepkids and their mom is so strong that it pushed him to choose them over his career. After a year of marriage, the country singer said he would leave his job on "The Voice."

Stefani thought their relationship wouldn't last long due to her sons. However, Shelton said he didn't think twice about committing to his wife and her kids.

The "Home" singer had a great example in his own father, who married his mother when she already had a child, Richie, his brother. Shelton's dad raised Richie as his own and his stepbrother saw him as his dad.

Shelton was even excited to know that Stefani had three boys. He felt that if his dad could do it, he could do it too. The country singer confessed that he didn't know what he was signing up for, but he was sure he wanted in. It would only be a matter time when Shelton confessed:

"Every day I've fallen in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen."

The country singer spends time with his stepkids on his 1300-acre ranch near Tishomingo, Oklahoma. At his age, he had never thought he would be blessed with kids, but he admitted it to be "so much fun."

The "Ol' Red" singer said when he first took the boys to his ranch, they didn't know what to do because they were so used to their lives in Los Angeles. He enjoyed taking them fishing as much as they were clueless about what to do.

Shelton encouraged them to embrace the outdoors, spend time in nature, and drive around; he even taught the boys how to fish. His stepkids now believe his ranch is their Disneyland, where they love to burn things, start fires, and throw hatchets.

Stefani also reflected on Shelton's relationship with her kids. "He is a good dad, actually. He's been helping me out a lot," she confessed. The singer said whenever she feels overwhelmed with taking care of three boys, she asks Shelton to come home, and he does.

Shelton's stepkids appreciate him and the effort he puts into raising them. A source revealed this and said the three boys "respect and love" their stepdad. Stefani's sons also look up to Shelton as a father figure.

The source also said that as much as Shelton has taken his role as a stepdad seriously, he ensures he doesn't diminish Rossdale's role as a father to the boys. The insider added that the three get along in their parenting and are in a "pretty healthy situation."

Shelton Prioritized Family over Career

Shelton's love for his stepkids and their mom is so strong that it pushed him to slow down on his career. After a year of marriage, the country singer said he would leave his job on "The Voice." Shelton made the decision so he could prioritize his wife and her kids in his new phase in life.

Shelton said he is lucky his record label will allow him to release songs whenever he feels like it, even as he slows down in his career. He also assured that he would keep releasing music until his fans fire him.

The "Some Beach" singer said he and his wife have worked hard over the years and have done so much traveling and touring that they were now ready to sit in their sweatpants and watch TV. He also doesn't want to miss out on the vital things in life. "For now, that's our kids," he explained. He added that his life isn't about him only anymore but also about Stefani and his stepkids:

"Even though I'm a stepparent, I take that job very seriously. The kids see me as a very important person in their life."

Shelton said when his stepkids ask why he isn't with them, he takes that question very seriously. "I've made plenty of money, but you can't buy time back. I don't want any regrets," he noted.

The 47-year-old also revealed that Stefani and his stepkids had given him a deeper fulfillment. His family has taught him things about himself that he never knew.

Over the years, Shelton has learned that he is someone his family can depend on, a responsibility he never had or even considered taking. He remarked:

"It's a different kind of self-worth. Maybe it's the opposite of self-worth because you put yourself way down on the rung, and they move up ahead of you."
