Kevin Costner's wife, Christine Baumgartner, made headlines following a court ruling that ordered her to move out of their house by the end of July 2023.

According to TMZ, the judge dismissed Christine's claim that Kevin was unjustly attempting to evict her from the house they once lived together, stating that her arguments were baseless.

Despite Christine's argument that she needed time for careful planning as it was a significant task to relocate, the judge did not accept her reasoning and upheld a provision in the prenuptial agreement that stipulated she had to leave the family home within a specific timeframe if a divorce petition was filed. That deadline is set for July 31.

Before the court's ruling, Kevin Costner, who co-starred with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser in "Yellowstone," had previously asked Christine Baumgartner to vacate their multimillion home no later than July 13, 2023.

Court documents from Kevin's legal team argued that Christine presented unfounded arguments to justify her continued stay despite her ability to move out.

The legal documents stated that Kevin respectfully requested Christine to vacate his property immediately. Despite filing for divorce on May 1, Kevin claimed that Christine had surpassed the 30-day deadline stipulated in their prenuptial agreement, which required her to leave.

Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce in May to end her 18-year marriage to the "Yellowstone" star. The exact reasons for the separation remain unclear, as Christine cited "irreconcilable differences." In response, Kevin Costner's representative issued a statement to TMZ, which stated:

"It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action."

Furthermore, the rep requested the public to respect Kevin and Christine's privacy as they navigated the challenging period. Per the divorce documents, the exes also asked for joint custody of the kids. A few days after filing for divorce, Kevin Costner's wife was spotted without her wedding ring while running errands in Santa Barbara.

While the two are still navigating through their divorce, the Oscar-winning actor stated he couldn't afford to pay Christine child support demands amid "Yellowstone" exit. In the previous court documents, the mom of three had requested $248k a month in child support.

In addition, Christine claimed the requested amount was insufficient to sustain their children's accustomed lifestyle. Additionally, she asked Kevin to cover 100% of private-school tuition, extracurricular activities/sports, and healthcare expenses.

According to a court document filed by Kevin, he claimed that Christine believed she was entitled to the monthly child support amount of $248,000. Kevin's forensic accountant argued in the legal papers that the expenses listed by Christine to justify the substantial amount were outrageous.

One of the mentioned expenses included over $100,000 spent on cosmetic surgery. The court documents further revealed significant expenditures on boutique shopping, large ATM withdrawals, and other expenses that Kevin deemed unrelated to child support.
