‘Sad That’s How They Kiss’: Prince William & Kate Middleton Show Rare PDA at His Polo Match

Royal couple Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William are known for refraining from public displays of affection; however, the lovebirds occasionally let a few flirty gestures slip. They recently shared a sweet kiss at a royal charity event in Windsor, Berkshire.

Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William recently attended the Royal Charity Polo Day at the Guards Polo Club, where he competed. Prince William participated in the event in support of the US Polo Association, winning three points against two.

The funds raised during the annual event, approximately $1.2 million, would support several causes held in high regard by the royal couple. Beneficiaries include the Wales Air Ambulance, Mental Health Innovations, Mountain Rescue England & Wales, and many more.

Prince William celebrated his victory onstage before walking over to embrace his wife, who wore a blue maxi dress with white floral designs, and the two kissed one another on the cheek. The sweet moment was captured on video and went viral on social media.

Under an Instagram reel, one user commented, "Nice but sad that's how they kiss." The remark triggered a string of replies defending Prince William and Princess Kate, who recently attended a Wimbledon match, with one replying, "It's a formal presentation."

Another responded, "They have rules of what they are supposed to do. Specially if they are working. (sic)" Others approved of the minimal PDA, with one user writing, "So appropriate and a great team together [gold hands clapping emoji]."

Another person commended the couple, saying, "YEAH!!! It's about time. They are still in love. The occasional PDA warms the heart. There's not a [expletive] thing wrong with it. Too bad his parents weren't the same. Of course, King Chuck was an iceberg with two legs."
