The Prince and Princess of Wales' romance began when they studied at St. Andrews University in Scotland. They lived in a student house with other friends, and their relationship blossomed during the Christmas season in 2003.
The Prince and Princess of Wales had been together for several years before their engagement in November 2010. The world watched their Royal Wedding when Her Royal Highness was 29, and His Royal Highness was 28, and they have been a united force ever since.
Before His Royal Highness met Her Royal Highness, he had dated different women, from family friends to actresses and conservationists. He also remained on good terms with some of his ex-girlfriends and crossed paths with them at social events.
Davina Duckworth-Chad
In the late 1990s, Duckworth-Chad and His Royal Highness had a fleeting relationship before he left for university. She reportedly joined William, Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall on a cruise of the Aegean Sea in 1999.
The Prince of Wales and Duckworth-Chad had family ties; Duckworth-Chad's mother was the late Princess Diana's cousin.
Duckworth-Chad's older brother, James Duckworth-Chad, was the late Queen Elizabeth II's right-hand man for her Golden Jubilee in 2001.

Olivia Hunt
Hunt was reportedly the last woman Prince William dated before his relationship with Middleton. He met Hunt during his first year at St. Andrews; he also knew her when she was at Edinburgh University.
Hunt studied English and History and became an executive director at the Arts Club. The private member club's founders founded the club in 1863 in Mayfair.
His Royal Highness and Hunt had the same circle of friends and stayed on good terms; Hunt was also friendly with Her Royal Highness.
She was invited to the Royal Wedding in 2011 and attended Pippa Middleton's wedding to James Matthews in 2016 with her husband, Nicolas Wilkinson. Wilkinson and Hunt tied the knot at Temple Church.
Rose Farquhar
Farquhar met William, Prince of Wales, in 2003; they met at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire after His Royal Highness had completed his A-levels at Eton.
She is the youngest daughter in her family and the daughter of a captain; Captain Ian Farquhar was master of the Beaufort Hunt.
Thought to be Prince William's first serious girlfriend, Farquhar pursued a career as a singer and auditioned for "The Voice" with judges Will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson, and Boy George.

Carly Massy-Birch
Carly and Her Royal Highness had a rumored rivalry after Carly's relationship of six or seven weeks with His Royal Highness ended. However, her mother. Mrs. Massy-Birch set the record straight:
"That really is rubbish. Carly has always been very close to Kate and William, and that has never changed."
Mrs. Massy-Birch confirmed Carly and The Prince of Wales's relationship and said they began dating during his first term at St. Andrews.
According to her mother, Carly found love with someone else and hoped The Prince and Princess of Wales would get married so she could attend the wedding.
The Massy-Birch family kept Carly's relationship with His Royal Highness a secret, but it was common knowledge amongst the students at St. Andrews.
Mrs. Massy-Birch said Carly was based in London and chasing an acting career; she also appeared in a few plays. Carly's family ran a farm and a camping park.
Jecca Craig
Craig's relationship with His Royal Highness went back years. William, Prince of Wales, visited her family's wildlife conservancy in Mount Kenya during his gap year after Eton in 2001.
Royal officials issued a statement denying any romantic relationship between the pair and insisted they were close friends. But the rumor was that they were more, and His Royal Highness allegedly proposed to Craig.
For his 21st birthday, William, Prince of Wales, had an out-of-Africa-themed celebration and Craig was the guest of honor.
Craig married Professor Jonathan Baillie, a Canadian conservationist, in Lewa in 2016, with The Prince of Wales in attendance.
Craig and Baillie were guests at the Royal Wedding as well. Craig helped found the world's largest conservation organization, Panthera.
Isabella Calthorpe
The socialite, actress, and model met His Royal Highness through his cousin, Princess Eugenie; Calthorpe's half-sister, Cressida Bonas, was said to have dated Prince Harry.
Her parents are John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe and Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon. She married Richard Brandon's son, Sam Branson, in 2013; their wedding occurred at a private lodge near Kruger National Park.
Calthorpe and Branson welcomed two children, Eva-Deia and Bluey Rafe Richard. She stayed friends with princess Beatrice and Eugenie; she was another of William, Prince of Wales' past girlfriends present at his wedding, although Her Royal Highness was allegedly not fond of her.
Calthorpe was one of His Royal Highness's exes that Kate, Princess of Wales, reportedly could not stand. A source told The Mail His Royal Highness had "dumped Kate because he thought he had a chance with Isabella."
Following the Prince and Princess of Wales' split in 2004, His Royal Highness reportedly spent time in Greece with Calthorpe.
She rejected His Royal Highness's advances, reportedly because she had her brand, and being with him could have negatively impacted it.
Mail Online reported that Her Royal Highness felt threatened by Calthorpe; a source said:
"Kate accepted William back again but on the condition that he would not speak to Isabella again."
Arabella Musgrave
Musgrave's father is Major Nicholas Musgrave, and she was the manager of Cirencester Park Polo Club before she became Gucci's head of PR.
She had a relationship with His Royal Highness but married George Galliers-Pratt in 2014; they share a daughter.
Musgrave and His Royal Highness were said to have had a passionate romance; they had known each other since they were children, but things developed into a romance as they got older.
This Royal Highness would invite Musgrave to parties he hosted in His Majesty the King's manor basement.
