- Hollywood actress Jennifer Grey has shared a rare picture of her only daughter, Stella Gregg, who is all grown up and "just as incredibly beautiful" as her mom.
- Grey had chosen to put her career on pause as she focused on raising her child.
- Stella followed her parents' footsteps and pursued acting, already garnering a few credits to her name.
Yesterday, "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey, 63, took to Instagram to post a rare picture of herself and her beautiful daughter, Stella Gregg, 21, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Clark Gregg, 61.
In the post, two side-by-side black-and-white images showcased Grey, wearing a sultry black dress, and Stella, wearing a similar garment, channeling similar poses.
To caption her post, Grey posed the rhetorical question, "Who DIDN'T wear it best?" and delighted in the wonders of genetics evident in the photos. She emphasized this with the hashtag, #likemotherlikedaughter.
Like Grey, a lot of her fans agreed that Stella is pretty much the spitting image of her mother. Many onlookers marveled at Stella's beauty and the uncanny resemblance between the mother-daughter duo:

What Stella Gregg's Life and Career Path Looks Like
Having developed an affinity for acting, Stella chose to follow in her parents' footsteps and has started to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. It is believed that Stella may have been influenced and inspired by her mother's successful career, which she grew up watching, even though Grey put a pause on acting to raise her for a while.
As a budding young actress, Stella has already garnered her fair share of film and TV production credits. She starred in the 2013 movie "Trust Me," which was written and directed by her dad. Four years later, she appeared alongside Clark in one episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," which he has starred in for over 100 episodes. Later that same year, she also appeared in "Who Do You Think You Are?"
Apart from the arts, Stella also graduated from The Archer School for Girls in 2020, making her parents incredibly proud. Both parents boasted about their daughter's significant accomplishments by dedicating congratulatory tributes to her on Instagram.
When she is not too busy charming fans on the silver screen or achieving educational feats, Stella is a regular twenty-something-year-old on social media. She loves hanging out with friends, showcasing her wonderful life in New York, and posting light-hearted content.
Despite their divorce, the former couple remain good friends and wonderful co-parents to their beloved daughter, Stella.
As far as her relationship with her parents goes, the 21-year-old is close to both her mom and dad, referencing her dad as an icon and calling her mom the best mother in the world on the occasional post of family pictures. Though she may be close to both parents, her bond with her mom is something special and unique.
In a 2011 Red Book interview where Grey discussed her time on "Dancing with the Stars," she was interviewed by none other than her beloved daughter, who was nine years old at the time. The entire interview showcased the adorable and incredibly close bond the mother and daughter share. The conversation captured endearing mother-daughter moments and memories, like when the two had gone camping, which Grey described as one of her favorite times spent with Stella:
"I loved when we stayed in a tent and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores and went horseback riding all around the creek."
How Jennifer Grey and Clark Gregg's Marriage Ended In Divorce
In July 2020, Grey and Clark announced that they had been separated since January. A month after the announcement, Clark legally filed for divorce in Los Angeles County.
On their respective social media accounts, the former couple posted a joint statement announcing their decision to move on. Part of the statement read:
"We recently made the difficult decision to divorce, but we remain close and are deeply grateful for the life we've shared and the wonderful daughter we've raised."
Despite their divorce, the former couple remain good friends and wonderful co-parents to their beloved daughter, Stella. Grey even wished her ex a Happy Father's Day after their divorce was finalized, and Clark shared a family picture with Grey and their daughter on Stella's graduation day.
