Melanie Griffith Has a New Tattoo Replacing Her Antonio Banderas Ink
Melanie Griffith's tattoo of her ex-husband no longer exists. The 65-year-old actress was seen in Los Angeles on Monday proudly showcasing her fresh tattoo, indicating that she has moved on from wearing her ex-husband's tattoo openly.
Melanie Griffith has completely gotten rid of her ex-husband's tattoo. The actress now has the names of her children, Dakota Johnson, Stella Banderas, and Alexander Bauer, and her stepchild, Jesse, engraved in the form of a crossword puzzle.
In 2014 after Melanie and Antonio announced the end of their nearly 20-year marriage, the mom of four began her process of removing the tattoo dedicated to her former partner. The "Working Girl" actress also has another visible tattoo on the back of her neck.
When the actress attended Taormina Film Festival in Italy in June 2014, she appeared joyful but drew attention to two specific items: her renowned heart-shaped tattoo dedicated to Antonio and her wedding ring. The actress had begun the tattoo removal process and had covered up Antonio's name.
Antonio Banderas was captivated by Melanie Griffith from their initial encounter at the 1989 Academy Awards, which she attended with her then-husband, Don Johnson.
Six years later, fate brought them together again when they were cast alongside Daryl Hannah in the 1995 romantic comedy "Two Much." At that time, both Melanie and Antonio were married - Melanie to Don (for the second time) and Antonio to Spanish actress Ana Leza.

Their connection grew, and they eventually got married in a private ceremony in London on May 14, 1996, only a month after finalizing their respective divorces from their previous spouses. They remained married for nearly two decades but decided to part ways in 2014.
Even though the two are not together, their love for each other has not faded. In an interview, Antonio revealed that while he is no longer married to Melanie, he still considers her his family and his best friend.
Melanie is a proud mom of three children. The iconic actress welcomed her first child, son Alexander in August 1985. Dakota, Melanie's second child, was born on October 4, 1989.

Following in the footsteps of her parents, Dakota has achieved notable success as an actress and has appeared in a multitude of films. She is widely recognized for her performance in "Fifty Shades" franchise.
Melanie's youngest child Stella whom she shares with Antonio was born on September 24, 1996. Although she has only acted in one film, "Crazy Alabama" released in 1999, she has accompanied her parents on various public occasions and events.
