Man Cheats on His Wife — Years Later Woman Finds Bag with Money & Note about Him
A woman named Lyonra Silverman, shopping at Goodwill, was pleasantly surprised when she purchased a bag with a gift inside it. She didn't expect to find something from the person who had given the bag away.
The woman found a Coach bag at Goodwill that she loved and paid only $6.99 for it. She then took the bag home, noticed it was dirty inside, and knew she wanted to clean it thoroughly before using it.
She began dismantling the bag so she could wash it, and when trying to remove the bottom panel, she found an envelope filled with money and a letter to the person who would get the bag inside.

When the woman pulled the envelope out, she saw 300 dollars inside and began reading the letter on the outside, explaining why the money was there.
What Was In The Note?
The woman who once owned the designer bag had concealed the envelope in the bottom flap and hidden money inside. She wrote that her children would give her things to Goodwill after she passed away, so she beat them to it and put their inheritance into all her favorite things.

Before Lynora bought it, the previous owner was Martha, and she shared why that particular bag was one of her favorites. She joked that her husband's girlfriend had given it to her.
Martha then clarified that her husband's mistress had not purposely given her the bag but had supposedly left the house in a hurry when Martha came back early from a trip to visit her parents. Martha's husband's mistress had left her bag and her shoes behind.
From that day on, Martha wore the bag every day and said she didn't know if her husband had ever noticed it was his mistress' bag. She then said she was giving the bag away because her children did not want it.

Martha ended the letter written on the envelope with money inside by addressing the reader directly, saying:
"So, go buy yourself a new bag. Love, Martha."
Lynora then took the money out of the envelope, revealing a $100 bill and several $20s. She then panned the video back to her face, which appeared shocked and somewhat delighted at the discovery. She captioned the post advising viewers to check their mother's things before donating them to Goodwill.
What Did Lynora Do With The Money?
While Lynora was delighted to find the money and the note from Martha when she bought the Coach bag, she knew she had to carry this energy into her everyday life as Martha did.
Lynora took to TikTok again to share the latest installment in the Coach Bag saga. She shared that she had just been to Goodwill to donate various items she owned and hid $100 in a pocket of a pair of jeans. She then exclaimed:
"In a world full of Karens, be a Martha!"
Lynora has now changed her TikTok user name to "MarthaInfused" and coined "Be a Martha" as a hashtag and her TikTok bio. Fans of the #BeAMartha movement have commented on each of Lynora's videos.

One woman shared that her mother had slipped money into the pockets of all clothes she donated to foster children. Another shared that Lynora looked so happy to be donating clothes and secretly donating money.
One commenter hoped the posts would go viral, but Lynora feared that changing her username in honor of Martha may have ruined her chances of going viral and reaching more people.
Many others praised Lynora for embodying Martha's spirit and paying kindness to others who may need it. Some commenters said they hoped whoever found the money Lynora left in the jeans would find peace and happiness, and Lynora agreed with them.
