Celebrity Look-Alikes Who Know They Have Star Doppelgangers

Susan Sarandon, Jessica Chastain, and Margot Robbie are just a few of the celebrities who have lookalikes in Hollywood. Fans often mistake them for other stars, praising them for films they did not participate in and even requesting photos, thinking they are their doppelgangers.

In the entertainment industry, it isn't uncommon to come across stars who bear striking resemblances to each other. Some celebrity doppelgangers have attracted fans' attention, from uncanny facial features to similar hairstyles.

In reality, celebrities are aware of their lookalikes and have shared their encounters with fans mistaking them for their doppelgangers.

Jessica Chastain vs. Bryce Dallas Howard

As they both have gorgeous red hair and flawless complexion, Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas are easily confused with each other. Chastain even sees the strong resemblance between them and agrees they have similarities.

Once, the two actresses stood in front of a mirror to compare their features. According to Chastain, she is tired of having people mistake her for the "Jurassic Park" star.

Susan Sarandon vs. Sigourney Weaver

While their specific features look different, Susan Sarandon and Sigourney Weaver look very much alike. In 2016, Sarandon admitted that she is frequently mistaken for Weaver and vice versa. During the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Sarandon said:

"I [want to] clarify a few things. Sigourney may have left the stage, but we are two different people. I have taken credit for 'Alien' many times, and she's signed autographs for me."

Hilary Swank vs. Jennifer Garner

The same could not be said for Hilary Swank, who has received hate for refusing to sign autographs for those who confused her with Jennifer Garner. "The Million Dollar Baby" star once revealed fans would act up when she would convince them that she was not Garner.

However, because Swank doesn't want to give Garner a bad name, she sometimes agreed when persistent fans asked for photos.

Katy Perry vs. Zooey Deschanel

Although in different entertainment fields, Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel are often interchanged for their uncanny resemblance. Deschanel once joked about it in an Instagram post, where she shared Halloween costume ideas, including one as Katy Perry.

The actress had fans laughing at her post, as noted in the comment section, "The Katy Perry is a picture of Katy Perry, right!?" Meanwhile, another fan said, "I had to take a 2nd look that it wasn't her."

Natalie Portman vs. Keira Knightley

Actresses Natalie Portman, who recently made headlines for her husband's alleged cheating, and Keira Knightly also look much alike, so much so that fans interchange them.

During a 2018 interview, Knightley revealed that she had been chased in the airport by people who thought she was Portman. She has also had several photos taken where people thought she was Portman.

While many women in Hollywood have lookalikes, there are also a few men with resemblances in the industry, including 70-year-old Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.

During an interview with "The Jonathan Ross Show," Neeson narrated when he was asked to pay tribute to those honored on D-Day. After he made a short speech, a lady approached him and asked for an autograph. "I'd be honored," Neeson said. As he signed, the lady said, "We love 'The English Patient,'" referring to Fiennes' film.

Margot Robbie vs. Emma Mackey

With the release of "Barbie," more movie watchers have noticed the strong resemblance between Margot Robbie and Emma Mackey.

Mackey and Robbie also co-star in "Barbie," and given the resemblance, Robbie shared that they considered adding a joke about it in the film. However, they discovered the two didn't look that much alike when Mackey had brown hair in costume, so they decided against it.

Margot acknowledges fans mistaking her for Mackey, as some praised her for "Sex Education" when it was actually Mackey who starred in it.
