The lead of "Barbie: The Movie," Margot Robbie's face was the source of debate on Twitter this week after one user deemed her appearance without the help of makeup to be average.

"This is her without makeup. Definitely mid," a Twitter user responded with a photo of Margot Robbie barefaced to a person who said that anyone who thought she is "mid" has "lost the plot."

This led to a few agreeing with him and even more defending the actress' natural beauty. "Yeah Margot Robbie has an average face," one agreed. "A guy with a face for radio, calling Margot Robbie mid is #doubledigitIQ material," a supporter pointed out.

"Men: ‘You'd look better without all that makeup on.' Also men, when they see a makeup-less photo of Margot Robbie, who objectively has a perfect face by current beauty standards (I'm pretty sure): 'Mid,'" a fan said.

"She is a hard 7. You used to find a Margot Robbie in every Blockbuster Video in 1995," a person said who threatened to "downgrade her to a 6" in a follow-up tweet.

"This whole narrative of the internet trying to convince us that Zendaya and Margot Robbie are mid is INSANE!!! If they're mid then my face must literally make people want to throw up," one said, bringing up Zendaya, who has also been branded with this insult before.

One tried to come up for Robbie by dragging down a different blonde, Sydney Sweeney, "For reference, Sydney Sweeney is mid. Margot Robbie is not mid. She has a near-perfect face and a decent body. 8, 8.5 overall."

Margot Robbie has been in the media a lot with the worldwide press tour for Greta Gerwig's "Barbie: The Movie," in which she stars with Ryan Gosling. She has delighted fans of the Mattel doll by wearing replicas of Barbie's famous outfits.

Due to her busy schedule, the Australian actress does not have a lot of time to indulge in many steps in her beauty regime, but told Vogue UK, "I'm anal-retentive about having really clean skin. Especially with my job, where they just layer makeup on and on and on."

The star uses a Dr. Lancer cleanser daily and cannot "live without" her Peter Thomas Roth Complexion Correction Pads, which she uses when traveling by plane. She is "all about spritzes," keeping an Aesop facial mist in her bag as her skin gets very dry.
