Diane Farr Reveals the Ethnicity Her Three Mixed-Race Children Mostly Identify As

Diane Farr is a proud mother to mixed-race children, and in a recent Instagram post, she revealed what her half-Korean kids identify as. Farr has researched raising mixed-race children, as detailed in a previous interview.

When Diane Farr married a Korean man in 2006, she knew she would become a parent to mixed-race children. Years later, she opened up about how her kids perceive themselves.

In an Instagram post alongside a grayscale photo with her son, Diane revealed that her kids primarily identify as Korean. However, they also have Western ancestry, as the actress is half-Italian and half Irish.

"Sometimes they call themselves Wasian or halfies or mixed," she wrote. "But every now and then, I see the Italian. Even the Irish sometimes."

In a 2012 interview, Diane said she had talked to several mixed-race teenagers who said that, at one point, their focus was how other people saw them. However, the "Numb3rs" star knew she had the power to lay the groundwork for the life her children would build.

Diane married Korean entertainment marketing executive Seung Yong Chung in 2006. Back then, Seung's parents were displeased with his decision to date a white girl. "We would attempt to change what his parents, and so many, say in private to their kids about a mixed-race marriage," she recalled.

Since having a family of their own, they rarely discuss race at home. They are raising their children to have independent minds and perceptions.

Diane became a first-time mom in 2007 after giving birth to Beckett Mancuso Chung, who celebrated his 16th birthday in 2023. The following year, she welcomed twin girls, Sawyer Lucia and Coco Trinity.

Diane Farr is now in her 50s and looking as beautiful as ever. Fans previously praised her for her youthful, natural look, even without makeup. She also maintains a fit physique by leading a healthy lifestyle.
