Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty Joined Brian Austin Green for His Birthday Celebration

Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty celebrated Brian Austin Green's birthday party with an Instagram tribute. The two actors shared glimpses of the celebrant's surprise birthday party with his closest family and friends.

Brian Austin Green recently celebrated his birthday surrounded by his closest friends. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star's pals, Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty, shared glimpses into the small celebration on social media.

Ziering took a video of Green's reaction to Instagram when his friends surprised him in what appeared to be his home. In the clip, Green was smiling happily and shocked to see everyone.

"So happy to celebrate with you and your family," Ziering wrote in the caption. "You sure are loved, brother! May this be your best year yet!" He also posted a series of photos, showing selfies with the birthday boy.

Doherty also commemorated the special day on her Instagram account, sharing a photo with Green and Ziering by the pool and another picture with other guests. "Happy Birthday, B," she said. "I love you."

Ziering and Doherty were Green's "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-stars from 1990 until 2000, alongside Luke Perry, Jason Priestley, and Jennie Garth. Having starred in a show for several years, they formed an everlasting friendship and treated each other like family.

Green's girlfriend also paid tribute to him on Instagram, penning a lengthy caption alongside a series of photos from the party. She wrote:

"You are without a doubt the most kind, loyal to a fault, generous, and all-round good man I've ever known. You have just the right amount of sarcasm that my Aussie humor needs."

Green shares one child, Zane Walker Green, with the "Dancing with the Stars" alum. He also had four other children from previous relationships. He shares his eldest son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, who is already making strides as an actor, with Vanessa Marcil.

He also has three children with his ex-wife, Megan Fox. In 2013, the former couple welcomed their first child together, Noah Green. The following year, they welcomed another son, Bodhi Green. By then, Green and Fox were already on the verge of separating.

When they separated, Green and Fox remained great parents, living under one roof. Eventually, they tried to reconcile and welcomed another son, Journey Green, on August 4, 2016. Still, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox's marriage headed for divorce.

Since their messy divorce, the two actors have moved on and are amicably co-parenting their children, who steer clear of the spotlight.
