Gisele Bundchen Celebrates 43rd Birthday Sans Tom Brady with Her Twin Sister in Brazil

Gisele Bündchen's birthday this year was a small family celebration with her fraternal twin Patricia Bündchen. The intimate party marked her first birthday as a single woman.

Gisele Bündchen high-fived her sister as friends and family celebrated their 43rd birthday on a boat in Brazil on Thursday. In an Instagram Stories clip, the twins enthusiastically clap along to a song in Portuguese as a cake with sparklers is presented.

The Bündchens will likely keep the party atmosphere going through the weekend, with the matriarch of the family's birthday on Sunday.

"We're very close; as you know, we're twins!" Gisele said at the Luz Alliance Gala in Miami in May. She praised her twin, who is also her manager, for helping to put the event together, which raised just under $1 million for reforestation efforts.

The siblings looked chic, posing together on the black carpet of the event. Patricia Bündchen manages her sister's affairs from her home base in Brazil, where she lives with her husband and kids.

Even with her leaving home at 14 for the world of high fashion, Gisele remains family-orientated. "Family is what gives us our foundation, they are our greatest teachers, and they help us become who we are," she mused.

Last year the Brazilian's divorce from Tom Brady was finalized within months of filing the papers. According to a New York divorce attorney not connected to the case, the efficiency of the divorce was due to both parties agreeing to the financial settlement and custody of the kids.

"It's like a death and a rebirth," Gisele Bündchen said in a March 2023 interview about the breakdown of her marriage after 13 years. She also called it "the death of my dream," the life she imagined for herself as a little girl.
