David and Victoria Beckham are among the world's most influential couples, with an approximate net worth of $450 million each. They first met at a football match in 1997 before tying the knot two years later.

The Beckhams have four kids: three sons named Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, and a daughter named Harper. They've remained married for 24 years, a feat quite rare for celebrities of their stature.

It was love at first sight for both David and Victoria. The football star once watched a performance of the Spice Girls on TV before pointing out Victoria to his best friend, saying, "I want to marry that one."

The pair met at a Manchester United players' lounge, and Victoria also fell in love with David that instant. She once wrote a letter to her 18-year-old self on Vogue that said:

"Love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge. Although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy."

Their Marriage Wasn't Always Smooth Sailing

As early as 2004, five years after getting married to Victoria, David was the subject of controversy when his former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, claimed she and the footballer had an affair. She alleged that David got lonely while they were in Madrid, which led to them getting intimate about six or seven times throughout the trip.

When news of his reported infidelity came to light, he ditched his Real Madrid Champion's League match against Monaco to go on a Switzerland ski holiday with Victoria and their two eldest sons, Brooklyn and Romeo. The club granted David compassionate leave to set his personal affairs in order.

Loos' career as David's assistant lasted only a short time. Her accusations of having an affair occurred within four months while he worked with Real Madrid in Spain.

Several other women were linked to David in subsequent years, but there hasn't been any proof of a solid affair. He and Charlize Theron swirled dating rumors when they were spotted at the World Cup in 2009 and later in an L.A. basketball game wearing matching outfits in 2010.

David and Poppy Delevigne also once left a bar together in the wee hours of the morning. They were co-stars on "King Arthur," a Guy Ritchie creation that flopped severely on the big screen.

The football player also developed a "close friendship" with sociality Mary Charteris. The same woman was linked to Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's divorce.

David was linked to other notable women, including Rita Ora, Bella Hadid, and Helena Christensen. Rita once had a fling with David's eldest son Brooklyn, while Bella and David were spotted together on two separate occasions, but with very different vibes between them.

It seems the Beckhams prepared for the worst by designing their $15-million farmhouse mansion with separate "his and her" wings.

When they first met at a Real Madrid match, they were seen sharing jokes and exchanging friendly banter. Months later, they looked stiff and awkward while sitting beside each other at a fashion show in Japan.

Despite all the infidelity rumors, Victoria never gave up on her husband, nor did David give up on their marriage. They've shot down divorce rumors through the years and shown up time and time again to prove all was well in the Beckham household.

Behind closed doors, however, it seems the Beckhams prepared for the worst by designing their $15-million farmhouse mansion with separate "his and her" wings. News of their separate house wings came in 2017 amidst rumors that they were living separate lives.

David and Victoria's different lifestyles clashed when the fashion designer allegedly grew sick of her husband's partying with other women. Sources claimed David wasn't used to life without football and was looking for another outlet to keep the fun in his life.

He and Victoria have grown the Beckham brand through the years. They've worked extremely hard, but David had a lot more time on his hands after exiting professional football.

They spent a lot of time with their children, but at the end of the day, David was reportedly "bored" and needed to let loose through partying. His decisions have drawn a deep wedge that they needed to build two separate wings for each of them in their converted farmhouse.

The master plan shows two separate wings of equal size. Each has its own bedrooms, kitchen, and courtyard.

The home was once a farmhouse featuring three barns, which they converted into a mega-mansion. A gallery separates the two wings and is distinct from one another.

It's been years since the Beckhams purchased the property, yet they've smashed all rumors of a separation. They often spend time with their four children, taking them out on dates and enjoying luxurious vacations.

On normal days, the lovely family also shares bits and pieces of life in their country home. From spending time with Harper in the kitchen to doing DIY projects out in the backyard, the Beckhams have gladly shared their simple, mundane days with their fans on social media.

On July 7, David and Victoria celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. They celebrated the momentous affair with Instagram greetings to one another.

They've built a great life for their family despite all they've experienced in the past. They've moved past their issues and have fought to live a life of normalcy despite their fame.

David also shared a touching note: "On this day 4.7.99. 24 years and counting. To the best wife, mummy & drinking partner (most of the time). Happy Anniversary love u so much." Victoria wrote:

"Still holding hands and still laughing (with you, not just at you). I love you so much."

There's no stopping the Beckhams now that they've gone through the worst in their marriage. They're enjoying the fruits of their hard work with each other and their children as their relationship grows stronger than ever.
