Amanda Levy McKeehan Has Been Managing Multiple Investments for Decades – Facts about TobyMac's Wife

Amanda Levy McKeehan is the independent and devout wife of Christian musician Tony McKeehan, popularly known as TobyMac. The couple has faced many hardships with their family.

Real estate developer Amanda Levy McKeehan and her husband TobyMac had five children. Unfortunately, the couple lost their first child but has remained rooted in their faith.

The "I just need U" singer praised his wife for her work ethic and for keeping him on the path with God. She, in turn, found a very modern and creative way to sing her husband's praises on his birthday in 2020.

Amanda Levy McKeehan Grew up in a Christian Household in Jamaica

Amanda Levy was born to Robert E. Levy and Judy Levy in Kingston, Jamaica. She was raised in a Christian household as one of four siblings, namely, Christopher Levy, Wendy Levy, and Stephen Levy, and her parents are associated with the Jamaica Broilers fame.

Her father is a Harvard Business School graduate and the board chairman of Jamaica Broilers Group. He was inducted into the Private Sector of Jamaica (PSOJ) Hall of Fame in 2015.

Amanda graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University in May 1994. She has since sharpened her business expertise with real estate development and finance certifications from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

While talking about his wife, TobyMac said, "Mine is an independent woman - not in a negative way - but you know what I mean? She has to be." He also added:

"She makes things happen when I'm not here. She's amazing!"

Since 1994, the Vanderbilt grad has managed her family's real estate concerns in the Nashville region. Amanda has been part of the real estate business TRULAND Development Company since its inception in March 2022 with TobyMac and another partner.

For her hubby's birthday in October 2020, the businesswoman, who does not have social media accounts save for her LinkedIn profile, hijacked his Instagram account.

Their son Truett died on October 23, 2019.

"It was one of the most honoring tributes I've ever seen," a podcast host said of the update that comprised a photo of Amanda smiling directly at the camera and a lengthy post. She praised her husband for the way he led their family.

TobyMac and Amanda Levy McKeehan Have a Big Family

When the McKeehans' firstborn, Truett Foster McKeehan, was three in 2002, they adopted twins Moses McKeehan and Marlee McKeehan. They went on to have two more biological children.

Moses was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in his early teens, which means he needs constant care and is a wheelchair user. The McKeehans had to mourn the death of a child publically, like Paul Newman, Mia Farrow, and Regina King. Their son Truett died on October 23, 2019, at 21, from an accidental drug overdose.

"As we mourn our firstborn son, God has poured out His love on us through people. He has loved us through you.... your kind acts and words and prayer…." the couple wrote in a joint statement.
