Liam Payne Misses His One Direction 'Boys' as He Celebrates 'What Makes You Beautiful' Milestone

One Direction fans became emotional upon reading Liam Payne's Instagram post. The singer recently shared his sentiments on their song "What Makes You Beautiful" and the milestone it achieved.

It has been years since the band members of One Direction separated, but many of their fans remained loyal. Liam Payne recently had fans teary-eyed as he reminisced on the band's milestone,

In his Instagram post, Payne revealed that One Direction's song "What Makes You Beautiful" was about to hit one billion streams.

"What an achievement, boys!" he wrote to his bandmates. "I'm so lucky not only to share this with you but also this amazing fanbase."

Payne ended his post by saying how much he missed his group, and fans couldn't help but share their feelings in the comments section.

Several fans claimed they were left in tears by Payne's post. Meanwhile, another fan said One Direction remains the best band ever. A third fan believed Payne's share insinuated a reunion. The comment read:

"Why I immediately think we're about to get the 1D reunion we've all been waiting for."

The One Direction band members celebrated their tenth anniversary on July 23, 2020. Payne, who has had many hair transitions, celebrated the milestone by sharing a screenshot of his 2010 text message to his father, saying he was in a boyband.

Meanwhile, Harry Styles posted a photo of the band members hugging on stage. Niall Horan also celebrated the anniversary, tweeting how unbelievable their success has been. Louis Tomlinson also paid tribute to the band by watching old interviews and concerts.

The band announced their long hiatus in 2015 but eventually pursued solo careers. Zayn Malik was the first to leave. In 2020, Payne said the band planned a project for their 10th anniversary. They also released a video tribute to their fans, featuring a compilation of their memories.
