Sofia Vergara's Dating History Includes Freezing Embryos with Ex before Her Marriage to Joe Manganiello
Sofia Vergara has had a flourishing career since she rose to fame, and she's also had an eventful romantic life. Her colorful dating history includes the likes of Tom Cruise and reportedly also Enrique Iglesias.
Sofia Vergara's marriage recently ended in divorce, and while it isn't the most favorable scenario for any woman, she has handled it gracefully. Similarly, Vergara's parents went through a divorce in 1993 while living in Barranquilla, Columbia.
Before tying the knot, the Columbian actress dated a few men in the entertainment scene. She even froze her embryos during a previous relationship.

Jose Gonzalez
Shortly after Vergara was discovered at 17, she married her high school sweetheart, Jose Gonzales. She was 18 then and on her way to becoming known in Latin America because of her Pepsi commercial. Together, they welcomed a son, Manolo.
Despite being a mother, Vergara wanted to attend medical school. However, her then-husband and others around her said it would be the wrong decision. "You're a woman trying to have a family. You can't be a doctor on call," they said. Her next best option was dental school, so she took up dentistry in Bogota.
Vergara and Jose Gonzalez eventually divorced after two years. Still, they remained good friends and raised their son well. Gonzalez has since become a dad to two more boys close to Manolo.
Chris Paciello
Vergara was linked to Chris Paciello in the '90s. Paciello was a feared gang member working under the Bonanno crime family. He didn't have the best record and was dubbed "The Binger" for his robberies and heists.
In 2000, when Vergara was diagnosed with cancer, her lover was apprehended for felony murder. The actress used her $15 million estate as collateral for Paciello's bail. However, their love did not withstand the test of time. Paciello spent around seven years in prison.
Enrique Iglesias
The "Hot Pursuit" star was reportedly also linked to Enrique Iglesias, although their relationship wasn't as publicized. At that time, Vergara did not want her son to feel confused. She said:
"It's okay for your kid to see you together on vacations or going out for lunch or dinner, but that's not the same as seeing him staying overnight in your room."
Tom Cruise
Vergara and Tom Cruise were first linked in 2005, and recently, he reportedly wanted to rekindle their romance. According to a source, the two actors had a brief fling in the past, but as it appears, Vergara isn't interested in anything serious at the moment.
The "Modern Family" star's successful career and undeniable beauty reportedly attract Cruise. He believes they could be Hollywood's power couple.
Nick Loeb
From 2010 to 2014, Vergara's heart was with Nick Loeb. During their relationship, Vergara and Loeb created and froze two embryos for the future. Following their split, a legal battle over Loeb's use of the embryos ensued.

The judge eventually ruled in Vergara's favor as she claimed they signed a contract stating both parties' consent are needed to bring a child to life. The said agreement also stipulated that the parents should be in a loving environment, should there be a child.
Joe Manganiello
Vergara tied the knot for the second time with Joe Manganiello. However, after seven years of marriage, the two called it quits and are headed for divorce. According to an insider, the two have been drifting apart for some time.
