Chelsea Cutler's Girlfriend: The Singer Found Happiness with Tilly Burzynski
In fear of backlash and shame, Chelsea Cutler initially held back on going public with her romance with Tilly Burzynski. However, when she finally showed the world who she loved, all she received was love and support.
In June 2023, Chelsea Cutler wrote a love letter to the LGBTQ community, sharing her coming out journey and how this community helped her believe she wasn't alone in her struggle. The bisexual singer said she had navigated her sexuality "quietly."
She was simultaneously curious and confused and anguished that life had dealt her an "unfair card," convinced that, more than anything, being bisexual was a curse. However, through pursuing music, she discovered her found family.

"Finding my own little community of queer friends allowed me the freedom to talk openly and really explore myself entirely for the first time," Cutler said, adding that music also afforded her the privilege of meeting "so many beautiful and brave members of the LGBTQ community" around the world.
"When I did finally start publicly dating my girlfriend, the outpouring of love and support that I received made it extremely clear to me that I would never be alone, and I would always be loved for exactly who I am," she added. The LGBTQ community empowered and liberated her to love her beau, Tilly Burzynski, loudly and with pride.

Chelsea Cutler's Girlfriend: The Singer Celebrated Four Years with Tilly Burzynski in 2022
Cutler and Burzyski started dating in late 2018. They celebrated their third couple's anniversary in December 2021, with Cutler sharing several photos that depicted their most precious moments. "Three years… you're the very best person I've met; love you forever," she sweetly captioned the post.
Burzynski has been the subject of many other affectionate posts on her beau's socials. In June 2022, Cutler shared a photo of herself and Burzynski embracing, and she wrote, "Proud to love you today and every day. You guys know the deal."
The couple had enjoyed Valentine's Day earlier in the year and Burzynski's 25th birthday that April. Although Cutler eventually went public about their relationship, little is known about Burzynski. She's also active on social media but has kept her personal life private.
Chelsea Cutler and Tilly Burzynski Met through Mutual Friends
Cutler, a Westport, Connecticut native, has a friend from home who happened to be Burzynski's college friend and roommate. The said friend attended one of the singer's shows during her first headline tour, and Burzynski had tagged along.
The two met backstage, and their romance ensued afterward. In addition to showering Burzynski with affection online, Cutler also dedicated the songs "Lucky," a 2019 single, "Forever," and "You Can Have It" from her second album, "When I Close My Eyes," to her lover.
Chelsea Cutler Thought She Was Too Old to Start Dating Women in Her 20s
Cutler's romance with Burzynski is her first with a woman. She had dated men before but struggled with shame and embarrassment when she contemplated dating a woman, thinking 21 was "too old" to start engaging in same-sex relationships.
Yet when she finally went public with her relationship with Burzynski, she said she never felt the need to "validate" it because "it's been treated no differently than when I had my college boyfriend." Still, the couple, like many others, has been subjected to homophobia.
Many other celebrities in the LGBTQ have spoken candidly about navigating their sexuality, like Liv Hewson, Bowen Yang, Clairo, Brianna Hildebrand, and Doja Cat. Still, some have kept their romantic lives private.
