Corey Hawkins' Seemingly Single Status Sparks Fans' Interest

Another user humorously suggested re-downloading dating apps and expanding the search radius in New York City to find Hawkins and potentially fall in love with him.

A Glimpse of Corey Hawkins' Life

While maintaining the utmost privacy in his personal life and leaving fans to wonder who his wife or partner is, Hawkins lets his career accomplishments take the spotlight: he has firmly cemented his status as a seasoned star on Broadway and in show business.

He first went to Duke Ellington School of the Arts, known for having notable alums like Dave Chappelle. He later completed his studies at The Juilliard School in New York in 2011 and became one of the few Black students who graduated.

One of the Broadways shows Hawkins appeared in was the 2013 "Romeo and Juliet," which later set the stage for him to conquer the acting world. He appeared in its film adaptation as Tybalt, with Orlando Bloom as Romeo.

Hawkins, a Washington native, also gained fame after portraying a young Dr. Dre in the 2015 biopic "Straight Outta Compton." Additionally, he appeared in the hit series "The Walking Dead" with notable cast members, including Norman Reedus and Danai Gurira.

Hawkins also portrayed Eric Carter in the 2017 TV drama "24: Legacy." He also appeared in the 2021 film "The Tragedy of Macbeth" as Macduff opposite screen veterans Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. The actor was raised in a family that deeply respected the law.

He said in 2015 that he was raised under the care of his mother, who served as a police officer. He highlighted his mom's work and considered her one of the good cops. He drew inspiration from her efforts to convey hope to children despite the violence she witnesses on the streets.

He said his path might have been different without his mother's profound influence. Fueled by this realization, he continues to uphold the responsibility of spreading positivity and constructive values to the community.
