Last Thursday, paparazzi photographed famous British TV personality Sharon Osbourne, 70, with her eldest daughter, Aimee Osbourne, 39, whom she shares with her husband, iconic musician Ozzy Osbourne. The mother and daughter were shopping at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills and appeared to enjoy their time together as they wore matching white blouses and wooly cardigans.

Other elements of their coordinated look included black ballet flats, and while Aimee opted to wear denim jeans, her mom wore sleek black pants. Aimee finished her look off with a trendy Christian Dior bucket hat and a black purse, while Sharon's bag was blue. In juxtaposition to her siblings, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, Aimee chose a life far away from the spotlight and, thus, did not appear on "The Osbournes."

Why Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne's Eldest Daughter Left Home at 16

Aimee was born on September 2, 1983, in St John's Wood, London, at Wellington Hospital, and according to her dad, she had been a ray of light in the family since her birth. Having been born into an extremely famous family, Aimee was thrust into an unparalleled level of fame from a very young age. Not long after she was born, the "Crazy Train" musician had to go back on the road and decided to take her along with him.

Although he expressed being happy that Aimee got to see a considerable portion of the world before her first birthday, the British artist admitted regret for not being there for her mentally, which made him miss a lot of important milestones like her first crawl, step, and word. Ultimately, he asserted that he was not a father to Aimee and said that it broke his heart to realize that.

Though Aimee chose to become a singer and actress (ultimately leading to some level of fame in the end), she did so on her own terms and by defining herself apart from her famous family.

The 39-year-old's most recent appearance with her mom comes years after the two went through a difficult time when she was younger. In a previous interview, Sharon opened up about when Aimee decided to leave their family home at 16.

According to her mom, Aimee had no interest in being a part of "The Osbournes," and since the show required the family to film non-stop about their personal lives, the singer chose to leave home. Sharon said that the idea of having to grow up in front of the camera was nothing short of appalling for Aimee and revealed:

"I regret every day that she did, but she was happy. But it broke my heart when she moved."

Aimee Osbourne Explained Her Reasons behind Her Decision & Revealed That She Went through a Hard Time with Her Mom

As a result of Aimee's decision to leave home at such a tender age, which was based on her desire to lead a private life, many fans of the Osbournes were unable to understand her choice. In a past interview, Aimee spoke about how many misinterpreted the reason behind her decision and assumed something was wrong with her. She recalled a time when she and her mom were walking their dogs, and she received weird stares from people.

However, during another interview where she discussed the reasoning behind moving out, Aimee clarified that it was simply because she prized her right to privacy more than anything else. She said it came down to who she is as a person, which morals she holds in high regard, and the desire for her to figure out who she really was apart from her famous family.

Aimee has continued to clarify that her choice had nothing to do with something tragic happening or being amiss. Of her decision to decline to be part of their family show, she said:

"...I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing, I would have been typecast right away. [Mum] was hurt, and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I'm more reserved, and my private life is very important."
