Kathleen McCrone Went through Challenging Times during Her Marriage to Wayne Newton
Amid the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world, Wayne Newton's wife, Kathleen McCrone, has been by her man's side through a series of challenging moments. She was with him through medical issues, legal dramas, and a terrifying encounter with burglars.
Lawyer Kathleen McCrone and her singer and actor husband Wayne Newton redefined the idea of a Las Vegas wedding and an entertainment couple by remaining married for over two and a half decades. The couple have since welcomed a daughter together.
Since becoming a couple, they have faced adversities and have persevered through turbulent times, as their troubles have not been related to their relationship, which remains strong. The star is rarely seen at major events without his beautiful wife on his arm.

'It Gets Sold with Us Here': Kathleen McCrone Fought to Keep Iconic Home
While she was mourning the death of family friend actress Brittany Murphy, Kathleen's sister, Mary McCrone, died unexpectedly a day after Christmas 2009 from heart failure at 46.
The new year brought more tragedy, with Wayne's daughter from his first marriage, Erin Newton, slipping into a coma following complications with her pregnancy. The 33-year-old surprised medical staff when she woke up after two weeks.
Against these trying times, the Newtons fought to keep their famous home, Casa de Shenandoah. With lawsuits from various quarters, including an ex-employee owed half a million in past-due wages and a business partner who guaranteed a loan he claims the singer defaulted on.

In 2012 a deal to turn the ranch into a tourist attraction turned sour when parties blamed the other for non-compliance. The Newtons were promised a $2 million home to be built on the property for them.
Their legal woes continued in 2020.
Though the couple had an early victory in getting a restraining order against their former business partner developer Steve Kennedy, the legal tide eventually turned on them.

"We stay here until we choose to leave. We have that right," Kathleen said when the 40-acre ranch was put on sale in 2013. "Even if at some point the property gets sold, it gets sold with us here."
The couple and their teenage daughter eventually did comply with a bankruptcy deal that saw them move into a downsized property of around 20 acres. Their legal woes continued in 2020 when they filed to have their personal items removed from Casa de Shenandoah, and the judge ruled in their favor.

Wayne Newton and Kathleen McCrone Walked in on a Burglary
On the evening of Wednesday, June 13, 2018, Kathleen, Wayne Newton, and their daughter surprised two burglars in their estate in the southeast valley of Las Vegas. The singer testified that one threatened his wife with a tire iron.
Additionally, the intruder used the weapon on their large Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. Twenty-two-year-old Weslie Hosea Martin was found guilty a year later. He had hit their mansion twice, the first time they were away in New York City.
The Couple's Ideal Date Night
Cleveland civil and criminal litigation lawyer Kathleen was in her late twenties when she met the legendary singer Mr. Las Vegas at a performance in the city. They married at the Casa de Shenandoah three years later, in April 1994. Their 200 guests were reportedly transported from their cars to the wedding area by horse-drawn carriage.
Wayne declared himself "the happiest" he had ever been in November 2018. With plans to renew their vows on their 25th anniversary the following year, he and Kathleen enjoyed spending date nights at home as he was constantly stopped for his autograph.
When they do go out, it is to glamorous functions like reality star Lisa Vanderpump's opening of Vanderpump Vegas, a high-profile sporting event, or an awards show like the Billboard Music Awards.
