In 2007, Jennifer Love Hewitt garnered significant media attention when she was photographed in a bikini, with many publications criticizing her body and labeling her as "fat."

Several years later, the particular photo resurfaced online and prompted discussions among internet users, who questioned the harsh criticisms and wondered why the publications had characterized her in such a manner.

In 2008, Hewitt lost significant weight after intense workout sessions with her personal trainer, Stevie Sant'Angelo.

One Twitter user wrote, "I remember being confused at the articles calling Jennifer Love Hewitt fat while using these photos as "proof." Someone else stated:

"Not long after I started working in the newsstand at a bookstore, there was a bikini photo of Jennifer Love Hewitt, and all the magazines featuring it (except People, maybe?) were calling her fat and... I did not get it."

The actress responded to the harsh criticism through her now-defunct site. As reported by CBS and other media outlets, Hewitt wrote, "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized."

She continued, "To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there struggling with their body image. A size two is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn't make you beautiful." The actress then encouraged women who faced the same struggles to embrace their bodies and stay strong.

Hewitt Lost 18 Pounds in 10 Weeks

In 2008, Hewitt lost significant weight after intense workout sessions with her personal trainer, Stevie Sant'Angelo. During an interview conducted at that time, Hewitt shared that she was maintaining a consistent workout routine. She noted that exercise enhanced her energy levels and made her feel good, motivating her to stay dedicated to her fitness regimen.

After welcoming her first child, Hewitt experienced weight gain but wasn't in a rush to embark on a strict diet or lose weight. She emphasized that, at that point in time, she was not pursuing any extreme or restrictive diets. Her primary focus was on her baby's well-being, so she ate well and ensured her child received proper nutrition and care.

The Texas native actress, who is now 44, has also been honest about feeling insecure about aging through her IG posts but still expresses gratitude for how far she has come.

Hewitt's body and weight have been a longstanding topic of discussion in the public eye. She disclosed that this scrutiny began before she turned 18, with people making hurtful comments about her. Furthermore, she mentioned that most of her interviews often revolved around discussions about her body.
