Linda Thompson Presents New Granddaughter Sharing Private Water Birth Video of Her Daughter-in-Law

Linda Thompson, 73, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and model. She is also the mom of two sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner.

Before her marriage to Jenner, Thompson was romantically involved with the famous singer, Elvis Presley. Their relationship started in 1972 after the late musician divorced his wife. During their four and a half years together, Thompson and Presley lived at his Graceland estate.

According to the 73-year-old, back in 1985 and two years after she gave birth to their two sons, Jenner confessed to her that he was "a woman trapped in a man's body."

Following her romance with the King of Rock 'n Roll, Thompson met and eventually married former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete, long before he transitioned. However, Thompson was aware of Jenner's gender predicament.

Thompson admitted she was shocked and confused. She credited her reaction partly to the fact that, at the time, very few people actually had full knowledge about gender dysphoria and its impact.

As a result, the two sought counseling. However, after a few sessions, Thompson realized that Jenner's desire to transition was only growing stronger. In fact, the former Olympian wanted to travel to Denmark for gender reassignment surgery.

Despite her unwavering determination to transition, Jenner wanted to stay married to Thompson. One day, after inviting Thompson on a weekend trip to New York, Thompson arrived at a hotel and found her former husband dressed in women's clothing, wearing a wig, and with full makeup, complete with red lips. Upon seeing Jenenr this way, Thompson revealed:

"I crumbled right there and burst into tears. 'Oh, I'm sorry,' Bruce said. 'I just wanted you to see who I really am. This is me!' "

While Thompson still loved Jenner, seeing her that way made Thompson view her husband more as her best girlfriend instead. They ended up divorcing eventually, but Thompson kept Jenner's secret even after news broke that she would marry Kris Jenner and welcome two more kids with her.

Following Jenner's official transition, Thompson expressed that she still found the whole ordeal surreal. She said that even though she accepts, supports, and respects her, she sometimes misses the man she married.

Though Thompson may sometimes miss her ex before she transitioned, they share a beautiful family. Last month, that family expanded with the addition of Thompson's new granddaughter.

On August 11, the singer-songwriter shared a special video of her daughter-in-law having a natural water birth at home. The footage showed Brody's fiancé sitting in a blow-up pool while giving birth to their baby girl.

Following his first marriage, Brandon wed his current wife, Cayley Stoker (who was already pregnant), in 2020, and the couple welcomed their twin boys one month after their wedding.

After the birth, the baby girl was placed in her doting mom's arms as her doting dad cradled his fiancée's shoulders and kissed her. The momentous event happened on July 29. Proud grandmother Thompson's caption read:

"...I feel so extraordinarily blessed, privileged and grateful to them that I was asked to be there for the labor and delivery...during this intense, spiritual, powerful & beautiful time...Little Honey Raye Jenner - you are already loved beyond measure!"

When people saw Thompson's post, many congratulated her and the family on their beautiful new addition. Some even expressed that they got emotional watching the birth. American actress Susan Yeagley gushed:

"This is absolutely magical! Welcome to the world sweet Honey Raye!! What a beautiful name!!!"

Fans who complimented the baby are not the only ones enthralled with the little girl. Her loving grandmother posted a carousel of media showing off her adorable bond with baby Honey Raye.

Early last month, Thompson posted a series of photos of her holding her new granddaughter. As she delicately carried her grandbaby, she beamed with love and pride.

Other photographs showed Thomspon's other grandchildren surrounding the baby while smiling. Another picture featured Thompson and her son, Brody, posing for the camera as she held Honey Raye between them. One Instagram user commented:

"Absolutely adorable!!"

Thompson and Jenner share sons, Brandon, 42, and Brody, 40. Like his mom, Brandon is a singer-songwriter born in Los Angeles on June 4, 1981.

He started performing as a duo with his first wife, Leah Jenner but went solo recently. He and Leah welcomed their daughter Eva James Jenner in 2015 and divorced after 14 years together.

Following his first marriage, Brandon wed his current wife, Cayley Stoker (who was already pregnant), in 2020, and the couple welcomed their twin boys one month after their wedding. Like their famous step-siblings, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Brandon and Brody had their own reality TV series in 2005.

Brody, who was born in Los Angeles in 1983 on August 21, is a reality TV personality. Outside of his appearances on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Brody has also been seen on "The Hills." Before his relationship with Tia Blanco started, he was previously married to Kaitlynn Carter.

Though Thompson and Jenner are not together anymore, they remain blessed with a beautiful family.

Additionally, though Jenner may have gone through a bit of a rough patch with her sons at some point, sources say they are in a much better place with regard to their relationships.
