Ross Uhrich and Jessica Carter Altman held their wedding celebration on May 28, 2023. Jessica, the daughter of Lynda Carter Altman, who played “Wonder Woman” in the 1970s, had legally married Ross on May 13, 2023.

The pair tied the knot at a courthouse in Annapolis, Maryland, in a ceremony that Maryland appellate court judge Laura S. Ripken officiated. The couple's immediate family members were also at the courthouse.

Lynda recalled that when her daughter and Ross started dating, she received a call from Jessica. Jessica told Lynda on the call that she'd met someone she was sure the actress and her dad would actually like.

When Lynda finally met Ross, she loved that he had done so much for himself and that he found her jokes funny. The actress called Ross "a Renaissance man" because she'd never met any person who was as committed to his work as he was.

170 people were present at the wedding celebration of Ross and Jessica, which took place on May 28, 2023, at Villa Balbiano in Ossuccio, Lake Como, Italy. Former US ambassador to Germany John Emerson took charge of the event.

However, she soon realized the man she was on a date with was special. The couple's short night plans ended up being long as they enjoyed each other's company.

On the wedding celebration, Jessica wore a veil designed by her friend, Alison Miller, who runs her company Monvieve. Jessica's corseted ivory A-line gown, silk corset, and silk charmeuse skirt were by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Jessica's brother, James Altman, walked her down the aisle. As she walked towards Ross, a string quartet arrangement of Jessica's song "Clumsy" played, which she wrote about falling in love with Ross.

The bride also revealed that she had honored her late dad, Robert Altman, by having a piece of one of his shirts sewn in her wedding dress. Jean Paul Gaultier's designers also used some of the leftovers of the shirt to make a pillow for the bride's and groom's wedding bands.

Ross' and Jessica's wedding location is also linked to Robert. Jessica and Robert were on a trip to Lake Como, and as they explored the lake's hotel, Villa d'Este, they spotted a bride. The actor asked his daughter if she would ever choose to get married at the hotel or somewhere close. When Jessica told Ross of this conversation, they both held on to this idea. They eventually married in the same location.

Flashback to Couple's First Date

Ross and Jessica matched on the dating app Bumble in 2017 and decided to meet at a bar in Washington. Ross wasn't excited about the date. He even put a chicken in his slow cooker and set the timer for two and a half hours.

Ross, whose Instagram says he is a Board-Certified Maxillofacial Surgeon, knew he would come back to eat the chicken for dinner and wake up at 4 a.m. for his surgical residency. But when Ross saw Jessica that night, he let go of his plans and planned to enjoy the evening.

Jessica also expected the night would end after a quick drink. She had just started working as a litigation associate at the Washington office of the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and wanted to be home early to get ready for her second day.

However, she soon realized the man she was on a date with was special. The couple's short night plans ended up being long as they enjoyed each other's company. They had dinner, bonded over a bottle of wine, and danced under the nighttime sky.

Their night ended late, and Ross had to call in sick the next day. He also found that his chicken dinner had gotten burnt. After this date, Ross and Jessica made a choice not to see other people without even discussing it with each other.

Now, the lovebirds are happily married. Jessica recently shared their wedding pictures, marking their three months in marriage. She also posted a photo of herself and Ross visiting the surgeon's hometown.
