Former footballer David Beckham posted a picture of him topless at the beach, and fans had a few things to say about his body. As a former athlete, Beckham has always been admired for his chiseled boy, but internet users have criticized his body as he ages.

The photo received several negative comments, with one Facebook user saying, "He lost his body; now he looks old and scraggy looking." Many more shared the same sentiments, adding that Beckham looked "awful," while others said he looked like he had "varicose veins" as he aged.

A fan who used to find the former footballer player attractive said, "...Those abs are getting saggy," but one person thought it might be the camera angle that made him look like he had a "strange disease."

More commenters thought Beckham looked like he could not breathe from trying to suck in his stomach. "If he holds his breath any longer, he looks like he's gonna pass out." remarked a commenter.
