Al Pacino and his ex-girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, have a three-month-old son, Roman Alfallah Pacino. Alfallah recently filed a court petition demanding full physical child custody of Roman.
The pair started seeing each other during the pandemic and were romantically linked in April 2022. They welcomed their son on June 6, 2023, at 1:41 a.m. at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and reportedly split three months later.
Court documents show that Alfallah wants full physical child custody but with the Academy-winning actor having reasonable visitation rights. Alfallah is also willing to let Pacino have joint legal custody, which will ensure the actor is involved in significant choices such as religion and schooling.
The 29-year-old included in the court documents a one-page paper titled "voluntary declaration of parentage," which she, Pacino, and a third party signed six weeks after their son was born. The document was an indication that the actor is the biological father of Roman.

A source said Pacino had demanded a pre-natal DNA test when Alfallah told him she was pregnant. The actor didn't think he could impregnate anyone due to his medical issues, which he assumed prevented a man from impregnating a woman.

Another insider confided that Alfallah kept the pregnancy a secret from Pacino for six months because she knew he didn't want to have any more kids. The 83-year-old was already a father of three before he welcomed Roman. He shares 22-year-old twins Olivia Pacino and Anton James Pacino with Beverly D'Angelo and Julie Pacino, 33, with Jan Tarrant.
Now, Alfallah wants the court to legally make Pacino pay for her attorney fees and all costs regarding the child custody case. The documents didn't indicate how much Alfallah is demanding as child support.
When news broke that Pacino and Alfallah were expecting a child, a source said the actor was excited because he has always loved being a father.
The California court must officially know the parents' income before ordering child support. However, since Pacino makes lots of money in a year, he will reportedly be the one paying Alfallah a monthly amount for child support.

Pacino's fans are angered by Alfallah's move and have accused her of planning to file for full physical child custody from the moment she got pregnant. Fans said she didn't seem like a nice person and that she played the actor like a violin and rinsed him.

Fans wondered how Pacino couldn't see his ex's move coming from the beginning. "It's pretty clear she gamed this from the start," a fan said. "Wow. Everyone saw this coming except Al," another fan commented. Pacino, who always wants to be there for her kids, hasn't commented on Alfallah's legal move.

What Is Pacino's View Towards Fatherhood?
Pacino grew up without a father, which made him want to be there for his kids always. The "Scarface" star said his dad left him and his mom when he was only two. Pacino's dad's leaving left him with abandonment issues.
The actor consciously knew that he never wanted to be like his dad. He wants to be responsible for his kids and be part of their lives. When he isn't part of their lives, it is upsetting to him and his kids.

When news broke that Pacino and Alfallah were expecting a child, a source said the actor was excited because he has always loved being a father. The source added that being a father has always been an important part of Pacino's life.
Pacino said having kids has helped him become the person he is today. Now, despite never wanting his kids to feel abandoned, he may only end up with visitation rights if Alfallah's demands are met in court.
