Actor Josh Duhamel is going to be a father again with his newly wedded second wife, model Audra Mari. The couple has only been married for a year, and Duhamel's former first wife, Fergie, reacted to their pregnancy news.

Mari, a beauty pageant titleholder, announced she and her husband Duhamel are expecting their first child together in a joint Instagram post on September 11, 2023.

She posted an image of her holding ultrasound photos on the table and captioned her post, "Baby Duhamel coming soon," alongside a white heart emoji.

This will be her first child, while it will be Duhamel's second child as he already shares a son named Axl with his ex-wife, singer-songwriter Fergie.

The former Black Eyed Peas lead vocalist commented on Mari's social media upload and left a heartfelt message that garnered thousands of likes:

"I am truly happy for you guys. Axl can't wait to be a big brother."

An insider reportedly revealed after the couple's engagement that Duhamel, 50, expressed his desire to have more children and that he always has, adding it would not take long for him and Mari to start a family:

Duhamel and Mari, 29, began dating in 2019 after being publicly spotted locking lips in Toronto. They walked down the aisle in September 2022 in Fargo, North Dakota, the groom's home state.

The lovebirds, who had gotten engaged months earlier in January of that year, had a rooftop ceremony at Jasper Hotel and held their reception at a tavern called Duffy's.

Duhamel revealed the big news on social media, sharing that his then-fiancée had found a message he left for her in a bottle in the ocean and said yes to his proposal. He placed a handwritten letter that read, "Audra Diane Mari Will You Mary Me?" inside the bottle.

After officially getting hitched, the Hollywood star's spouse posted a photo of them on their wedding day on Instagram and gushed about their special day, writing:

"Everything I dreamed of as a little girl.. I'M MARRIED!!"

Duhamel started seeing the formerly crowned Miss World America following his divorce from Fergie. The "Glamorous" singer filed for divorce in late May 2019, almost two years after the duo publicly announced their separation in a joint statement in September 2017.

Fergie and the "Transformers" star were married for eight years before calling it quits on their marriage. They started dating in 2004 and got engaged in 2007 before tying the knot in January 2009.

More than a year after announcing his breakup with the mother of his child, Duhamel, who starred in “Shotgun Wedding” alongside Jennifer Lopez, spoke candidly about his plans in December 2018. He revealed he was ready to settle down again and have a family.

Duhamel, who had his acting debut as Leo du Pres on the ABC soap opera "All My Children," alongside Susan Lucci, divulged on the "Armchair Expert" podcast that he was not young anymore and would like to have kids in the following years. "So, it’s more about finding someone young enough to have kids," he said.
