Anderson Has Gone Natural in Honor of Her Late Friend

Anderson has been opting to go makeup-free since the death of her late friend and renowned makeup artist, Alexis Vogel. The star, who appears "unrecognizable" to fans without her signature makeup, explained:

"She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup."

Vogel had been Anderson's go-to glam expert for over two decades. In a 2016 interview, the model revealed Vogel was with her in some of her first PlayBoy covers and many of her PlayBoy shoots, adding she was also responsible for her trademark bombshell look.

Anderson and Vogel had an endearing relationship. The year before the interview, Vogel posted a snapshot of them dining together.

In December 2015, Vogel posted a selfie of her and Anderson, writing, "Naptime. After her event, she goes into the wild blue yonder!! Love you P xxooxxoo."

Two years later, in February 2017, the red-haired uploaded another selfie of the smiling duo and penned, "@pamelaanderson @alexisvogel #sisterlylove #bff #loyalty4life #spiritual #Iloveyou."

Vogel tragically passed away from breast cancer in April 2019 at age 61. The author was reportedly a sought-after professional makeup artist in Hollywood.

Aside from Anderson, Vogel had worked with other famous public figures in Tinseltown, including Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington and singer-turned-talk-show-host Kelly Clarkson.

Anderson acknowledged that the aging process is a journey, and for her, it is joyful. The media personality further expressed how she feels, saying:

"I feel rooted for. I feel good. I'm in a good place."

Besides all that, Anderson is the mother of two sons, Brandon, whom she welcomed in June 1996, and Dylan, who arrived a year later in December 1997. She shares them with musician Tommy Lee.
