The Kid Laroi's Father: His Uncle Encouraged Him to Focus On Rapping

In 2020, Laroi shared that his dad was "in and out" during the early stages of his life, but he had his uncle to look up to. The singer-songwriter always speaks fondly of this male figure, who always told him to keep rapping. Sadly, his uncle was murdered in 2015, but his death motivated the singer to honor his uncle's wishes.

"Before my uncle was murdered, he would stress to me how important it was that I keep rapping and stay focused. When I was little, I told him, 'But I want to be like you,' to which he replied, 'If you turn out like me, I'll be disappointed,'" Laroi wrote, adding that those words forever stuck with him.

As for Laroi's relationship with his father, they seem to be on good terms. In March 2022, he and Nick were seen out together in Los Angeles after seeing a show by Will Ferrell at Largo Comedy Club. Later that year, Nick joined his son, alongside his grandparents and younger brother, on tour.

The Kid Laroi's Mom Was Once Charged with Credit Card Fraud

According to police reports from Daily Mail Australia, Laroi's mother booked an appointment for lip filler worth $849 at Laser Clinic Australia on August 8, 2018. She allegedly arrived a few hours later and underwent the procedure at the clinic.

Sloane had used her real name and contact details to secure the appointment; however, the credit card details were reportedly fake. They were later traced to John Keith, who was said to have filed a fraud report.

Authorities further investigated and tried locating Sloane, a search that took three years. They finally found her while she accompanied Laroi during his 2022 Australian tour. However, the charges, officially placed in May 2022, were dropped when she was due to appear for her hearing.
