Lori Brice: Facts about Ron White's First Wife & Mother of His Only Son

Lori Brice and her famous ex-husband, Ron White, were married for over a decade, and the pair welcomed a son. Although the reason behind their separation remains unknown, the comedian revealed no bad blood existed between them.

Ron White is commonly known for being a talented comedian who has also dabbled in acting. The Hollywood star joked that he has only been officially married twice, and the first time around was to Texas native Lori Brice.

Despite her ex-husband's fame, Lori Brice has led a life out of the public eye. However, she occasionally takes to social media to share glimpses of her life, seemingly revealing she has found love again.

Lori Brice and Her Ex-husband Are 'Dear' Friends

Before Ron made a name for himself as a comedian — joining other big names like Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, and Kevin Hart — Lori's ex-husband worked for a company that did not pay him, which saw the former couple borrow money from Ron's father.

Ron revealed things had gotten so bad that they would turn the car engine off whenever they went downhill to save gas. According to him, the couple owed many people money and were forced to live in a tiny apartment.

Lori and her ex-husband only welcomed one child during their marriage, their "beautiful" son, Marshall.

Lori and her ex-husband eventually borrowed just enough from his dad and relocated from Abilene to Dallas in a U-Haul they could not afford and had nowhere to live. Ron said:

"[...] We had no job, we had no place to stay. All our stuff's on a truck that's fifty bucks a day, and we don't have fifty bucks a day."

Lori and Ron were married for twelve years, and during an interview, Ron revealed his then-wife had been at the comedy club the night he made his big break. However, the couple eventually parted ways, but Ron shared, "I've only been married twice — actually married. I was married to my son's mother, who's still a dear, dear friend of mine."

Lori and her ex-husband only welcomed one child during their marriage, their son, Marshall White. Marshall's famous father revealed the former was born in Fort Worth and is one of the only people in his family who inherited the funny gene like his dad.

"He's hairy — wears a full beard. He's a man. It's amazing because I was not an easy kid to raise, and he's smart, he's got a great heart, real talented. He protects me. He's the first one doing security, going, 'Don't grab his shirt,'" Lori's ex-husband added about their son.

What Has Lori Brice Been up to in Recent Years?

According to her Facebook account, Lori now goes by Lori Brice Exline and seemingly confirmed she has found love again after sharing a black-and-white picture of her and another man lovingly looking into each other's eyes.

In her introduction about herself on Facebook, Ron's ex-wife describes herself as a lover of Jesus, family, tacos, pecan pie, good music, cold beer, travel, and "coming home to Texas."

Lori shared the same sentiment of loving her family in a 2015 Facebook post, where she revealed there was nothing better than a day spent playing with her family, followed by a photo dump of her loved ones splashing in the pool.

Lori also uses Facebook for charity work. For her birthday in 2018, she turned to the social media platform to raise money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Ron's ex-wife did the same good deed last year for her birthday and participated in a local 5k Heart Walk to raise money for the American Heart Association.
