Little about Renata Elizabeth White and Stephen Jackson's relationship is known, but the former couple continually made headlines following their separation. They tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed a daughter after Renata filed for divorce in 2013.

The reason for their split is unknown, but Renata had signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying Stephen, setting off their court dispute. In a strange turn of events later on, Stephen filed for Renata's divorce petition to be rescinded.

The year after Renata filed to dissolve her and Stephen's marriage, she submitted a grievance claiming Stephen had sold her Bentley behind her back. In documents obtained by TMZ, Renata alleged that when she filed for divorce, she and Stephen were instructed not to sell any significant assets before they were divided in court.

Yet, in October 2014, Stephen "stole" her car keys and resold the vehicle. He later sent texts to Renata confirming what he had done. They reportedly read, "I will spend it all before I let [you] take it and spend it on another [expletive] or [expletive]."

Renata wanted Stephen to be imprisoned for his actions until he gave her a share of the profit, but that wasn't the end of their legal battle. In February 2015, news emerged that Stephen had requested that Renata's divorce petition not be granted.

According to the former NBA player, he and Renata had remained a couple and sexually intimate despite the divorce petition. Stephen claimed he had even taken Renata on luxurious vacations and accused her of only wanting a prenup payout, i.e., "have her cake and eat it, too."

Renata and Stephen's legal separation was finalized a month after Stephen asked for it to be revoked. Court documents reveal that the couple had a daughter, Skylar Jessie Jackson, born on February 10, 2014.

They were granted joint legal custody of Skylar, while Renata received primary physical custody. Renata has since lived under the radar following the messy court battle's end. Her ex-husband had faced prenup issues with an ex-fiancee years before they married.

Stephen was engaged to Imani Showalter and set to marry her in August 2005. However, when the day came, he abandoned her at the altar. He recalled the incident in a 2020 Instagram Live, claiming Showalter had refused to sign a prenup.

Yet, in a response post with a letter from his lawyer, Imani denied that she had refused, saying he had never even sat down to discuss the matter with her. Imani later joined the reality series "Basketball Wives" with Shaunie O'Neal (Shaq O'Neal's ex-wife) and Jennifer Williams but left after Season One.
