Matthew Perry’s Ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz Reportedly Wished Star Didn’t Throw Away Their Romance
Matthew Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, alone in his home. When he passed on, he had no partner, but three years before his death, he was engaged to a younger woman.
Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler on the hit '90s sitcom "Friends," passed away at his Pacific Palisades home on October 28. His assistant called 911 after finding him unconscious, but Perry sadly died.
As tributes from all corners of the world have poured in for the late actor, his ex-fiancée, Molly Hurwitz, shared her feelings on his death and talked about their relationship and how it ended.
How Did Hurwitz and Perry's Relationship End?
Literary manager Hurwitz and Perry started dating in 2018. In 2020, the couple got engaged, and Hurwitz hoped for a long and happy relationship with the late actor.
However, by 2021, they called off their engagement and Hurwitz is now sharing why they broke up and how she felt about the situation.
Their relationship ended after Hurwitz claimed she found Perry texting a 19-year-old woman on the dating app, Raya. After that, Hurwitz knew she couldn't be with him.
Friends of Perry said that he wanted a long-lasting relationship but could never behave in a way that would allow him to have that. Talking about the breakup, a source claimed:
"Their split was not amicable, but Molly doesn't blame him, nor does she harbor any negative feelings."
After Perry's passing, Hurwitz said she wished things could have been different between them. Rest in peace, Matthew Perry.
