Candace Cameron Bure’s Son Gets Engaged for the Second Time Two Years after Calling Off His First Engagement

Candace Cameron Bure's son, Lev Bure, is tying the knot after the holidays, and the proud mom couldn't be more excited. She previously shared about her son's milestone in an interview.

The holidays are often a time for families and friends to celebrate Christmas and wrap up a wonderful year. While this is true, Candace Cameron Bure's family has another reason to celebrate – her son's, Lev Bure's, wedding.

The actress is excited to have her family complete again as she will soon be gaining a daughter, in addition to her only girl, Natasha, and two sons, Maksim and Lev, whom she all shares with her husband, Valeri Bure.

"They're all coming home," she said. "My son is getting married after Christmas, and so we're very excited. She is definitely, definitely invited into the family, but we'll see how the holidays work out in that way."

Although excited for the big celebration, Candace is not forcing herself through the planning process. She knows her place as the groom's mother, which is far different from the bride's. Nevertheless, she remains supportive of her son and future daughter-in-law's decisions. She said:

"Of course, I want to help and do everything, but I'm learning to settle into my position of just being available and supportive."

Beyond physical support, the "Fuller House" star has equipped her son to become a good husband through good parenting for many years. She admires her son and knows he is a good person.

According to the mom of three, the best advice she could give the groom-to-be is to know that his parents are always present to answer any questions that come to his mind.

In April 2021, Lev called off his then-engagement to Taylor Hutchison, whom he had announced his proposal with eight months before. Although they did not publicly disclose the end of their engagement, Cameron confirmed the news during an interview.

Lev was only 20 when he got engaged for the first time. His mother announced the news on her Instagram, revealing her excitement for the new chapter in her son's life. Lev and his supposed mother-in-law-to-be also shared the same announcement on their social media.

The entertainer was married at 20 and has been married for many years to her husband, Valeri. Candace Cameron Bure has talked about traditional marriage in the past and was criticized for her comments about tying the knot.
