Paul Walker's untimely death on November 30, 2013, stunned the entertainment industry, especially his family and friends. He left behind his daughter, Meadow, who'd turned 15 only weeks before his death.
On the 10th anniversary of his passing, Meadow shared a touching tribute to him. The doting daughter shared video footage of a private moment she shared with her dad, where she surprised him on his birthday.
The "Fast and the Furious" star beamed with happiness as his daughter surprised him with several "Happy Birthday" greetings. "You scared the hell out of me," Walker said in the clip, in between bouts of laughter.
The touching video clip ended with Meadow and Paul sharing a warm embrace. "10 years without you... I love you forever," she wrote in her caption.
Fans and friends showered Meadow with so much love on what was easily one of the most difficult days of her life. Paul's co-star Jordana Brewster was one of those who commented "love you so much," under the tribute.
After her dad's passing, Meadow started the Paul Walker Foundation. She currently holds the position of CEO and puts out programs that "leave people better educated" so they can "deal with the challenges of tomorrow."
Meadow tries to honor her late dad as much as possible. On what was supposed to be Paul Walker's 50th birthday, she penned a heartfelt message about her dad's personality.
"Thank you for your love, guidance, friendship, sunshine, and for raising me to see all of the beauty in the world. You are the most kind, humble, generous, and caring soul I know," she started her message.
Meadow thinks of her dad as her guardian angel. She believes despite his absence, he continues to watch over her and guide her towards the right path each day.
