Country singer and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton has recently shared what he will be doing differently in the new year. It's a resolution he has made most years but has never been able to stick to.
For many years, Shelton has made it his resolution to cut back on alcohol or quit altogether. However, thus far, he has not been able to stick to the resolution. He admitted: "I haven't managed to stop drinking yet. That's been, you know, even cutting back has been hard."

Shelton said it was difficult to quit drinking because there was always a celebratory occasion on his calendar. However, he believes that 2024 is the year he finally makes good on his resolution.
The country singer's drinking is not something he has kept a secret from fans, though. In 2019, he took to X to show fans what he was drinking while judging on "The Voice." He indicated that he drank vodka and Sprite while judging.

Despite not having been able to quit drinking yet, Shelton has built a beautiful life with his wife, Gwen Stefani. The pair have been married only a short while but have been together for years, with Stefani even coloring Shelton's hair during the COVID-19 quarantine, something Shelton was happy to do.
