Madonna, 65, Wakes up from Coma to Her 6 Kids Watching Her Battle for Her Life
During a recent concert, Madonna opened up about a harrowing experience where she woke to the comforting presence of her six children in the room after being placed in a medically induced coma.
World-renowned performer Madonna previously gave an incredible performance in Belgium. Amidst her concert, the singer became emotional and recounted her experience being in the hospital a few months back.
During the concert, Madonna gave fans a glimpse of her experience being in a medically induced coma. Although the artist, at some points, paused out of emotion, her fans continued to cheer for her.
The performer revealed what she saw upon waking up, saying, "I woke up with all of my children sitting around me...my children always save me every time." She knew she had to survive to be with her kids, and so she did. The "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" songstress highlighted the role her mother played at that time and what she said to Madonna: "It's not your time to go."
Madonna went on to thank her children and fans for their unwavering support throughout her career and health battles before picking her guitar up and continuing the show.

This wasn't the first time Madonna opened up about her coma. In July 2023, she also shared about waking up to her children in the hospital. She also immediately thought of her fans, noting that she did not want to disappoint those who had already purchased tickets for her tour.
"My focus now is my health and getting stronger," she said. "I couldn't be more grateful for your care and support." The 65-year-old singer had been hospitalized in the intensive care unit due to a bacterial infection that put her in a 48-hour coma.

As the singer recalled, she became unconscious in her bathroom and woke up in the ICU. Thankfully, her friend, Shavawn, immediately rushed her to the hospital. About a month later, Madonna posted a photo on Instagram hugging her son, David Banda, alongside an update on her health scare.
