'Ghost Whisperer' star Jennifer Love Hewitt Seen with Bare Face after Speaking on Using Photo Filters

Hollywood actress Jennifer Love Hewitt was recently seen with a bare face devoid of makeup after she spoke about using photo filters. Hewitt previously got candid while addressing the narrative concerning aging in Hollywood.

On December 14, "Ghost Whisperer" star Jennifer Love Hewitt, 44, was seen with a fresh face completely free of makeup as she stepped out to run errands in Los Angeles. She adorned casual wear, dressed in a pink tye dye tracksuit with lime-colored sneakers, and wore her hair loose.

This fresh-faced outing comes after Hewitt received backlash from the public when she posted pictures on her Instagram without any makeup or glam. As a result, some people said she was unrecognizable, which prompted Hewitt to respond to the critique she was receiving.

Before her recent outing, the "Heartbreakers" talent appeared on a podcast where she spoke about the difficulties of aging in Tinseltown. She brought up the instance when she had used filters on her Instagram posts and said the "unrecognizable" narrative was spearheaded by the fact that people think she used filters because she looks bad in real life and so didn't want anybody seeing her real/unfiltered appearance.

Hewitt had then tried to retaliate to the hate by poking fun at what people were saying and posting more filtered pictures with captions that said she didn't have any filters on. However, this only caused further backlash, which left Hewitt at a loss. She exasperatedly expressed, "You can't do anything right..."

Even after the video of Hewitt addressing the negativity she received was shared, more people continued to comment on how different she appeared. A user said, "I thought it was someone talking about Jennifer Love Hewitt here. I didn't know it was herself."

Another agreed and commented, "She definitely looks different..." Like the first comment, someone else stated that they "had no idea this was Jennifer Love Hewitt."

In another part of the podcast interview Jennifer Love Hewitt, she explained that the public tends to immortalize and freeze celebrities in a specific timeframe when they think they looked their best, usually when they were younger.

This does not allow for a safe space of acceptance for stars to feel comfortable with aging and all the physical changes that come with the process. Hewitt advises that as a society, "we have to do better...we have to be kinder to people...we have to allow people to change and grow and look different and just wish them well."

Hewitt ended her statement by saying that people should allow others to grow, change, and look different over time, which are all natural elements of aging. She also highlighted the imperative of people wishing each other well as they age instead of criticizing people for their appearance.
