This week, Chris Young has been in trouble with the law following an incident in Nashville. The incident reportedly unfolded when TABC agents were conducting routine checks for IDs and license cards at the bar. Young, who was present then, allegedly began questioning the agents after they checked his ID.

The situation escalated as he started recording the agents and followed them to the Dawg House, another nearby bar where the TABC performed a compliance check.

At the Dawg House, Young and a group of friends reportedly interacted with patrons and the bartender while TABC agents continued their inspection. The situation turned confrontational when Young is said to have blocked the agents' exit, physically stopping one of them from leaving and striking the agent on the shoulder. This action led to a chaotic scene with bar patrons intervening, reportedly creating a "hostile" environment, as described by the agents.

Authorities noted that Young's eyes were "bloodshot and watery," and he was allegedly slurring his speech at the time of the incident. Following this altercation, Young was arrested and booked on three misdemeanor charges: disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer with offensive contact.

After posting a $2,500 bond, Young was released from custody the following morning. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 16.

This arrest comes amid a significant time in Young's career. Just last week, he delighted fans by posting a video on TikTok where he sang at a bar in Nashville. Additionally, on January 24, Young announced that he would release a new album titled "Young Love & Saturday Nights," stirring excitement among his fan base.
