‘I Will See You in My Dreams’: Tom Brady’s Ex-wife Mourns Passing of ‘Angel’ Mom with Poignant Tribute

Gisele Bündchen is devastated over the passing of her mom and shared a lengthy tribute on Instagram, where she penned a letter to the departed alongside a series of photos.

Gisele Bündchen's mother, Vânia Maria Nonnenmacher Bündchen, recently passed away, leaving her daughter in mourning. The model paid tribute to her mom on Instagram, sharing wonderful photos of Vânia with her grandchildren and children.

Her post was accompanied by a lengthy letter to her mom, filled with emotion and sadness. "It hurts to know that I won't be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us," she wrote.

Despite the pain, Gisele is grateful to have been blessed with a wonderful mother who taught her much about life and instilled essential values in her. Gisele referred to her mom as a great role model who showed what love, courage, and compassion were like.

"I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we shared and will live by the values you taught me. You will live forever through the many lives that you touched," she added. "I will see you in my dreams."

Vânia passed away at Moinhos de Vento Hospital on January 28, 2024, after battling cancer. Vânia, a bank teller, raised her six children in a middle-income household in Horizontina, a town in southern Brazil.

She raised her children to know the value of money, such that Gisele would only get the material things she wanted on her birthdays. When Gisele went to Tokyo for work, Vânia remained at home to take care of her five other daughters.

Gisele Bündchen eventually focused on her career as a model and famously walked for Victoria's Secret. She later became a mother herself after marrying football star Tom Brady. Unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce.
