Ashley Olsen Spotted in Rare Sighting with Twin Sister after Leaving Acting Career & Secretly Giving Birth

Ashley Olsen looked cozy as she walked New York City with her two siblings. The former actress's sighting came two decades after she chose to end her acting career.

Since stepping away from the limelight, Ashley Olsen hasn't been seen in public much often. However, a rare sighting of Ashley with her twin sister, Mary-Kate Olsen, and younger sibling, Elizabeth Olsen, happened recently.

The trio were spotted walking the streets of New York City, all bundled up in the evening. Ashley, 37, looked cozy in an olive green parka and baggy jeans. She kept herself warm with a scarf wrapped around her and accessorized with glasses and a tote bag. Her twin kept herself warm in a maxi coat and a big bag.

It has been less than a year since Ashley became a mom, secretly giving birth to her son, Otto. Her baby's birth was confirmed in August 2023, although some claimed Otto was born months before.

Ashley shares her son with her husband, Louis Eisner, with whom she tied the knot in 2022. The "Full House" star kept her relationship under wraps following the decision to leave the entertainment industry in the early 2000s.

"I don't have to be a pretty face. I've done that, but now it's important and liberating to be on the other side of the lens. I don't like being the center of attention anymore," Ashley said. While she isn't closing her doors to the industry that made her career, she will not return as an actress.

Ashley's last on-screen appearance was in the 2004 movie "New York Minute," alongside her twin sister. By then, the two had already starred in several productions, making their names known.

The actress has since devoted her time to her fashion line, The Row, which she shares with Mary-Kate. She is hands-on throughout the whole process of making clothes and likes being in control.

Ashley and Mary-Kate decided to switch careers after they stepped away from acting to attend college at 18. In the years before, they worked endlessly until eventually deciding to take a break. They have since focused on building their fashion house.

While Ashley no longer acts, her sister, Elizabeth, has risen to stardom. She is best known for her role in Marvel films. Interestingly, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have three other siblings besides Elizabeth.
