I Found Out My Boyfriend Cheated on Me during His Proposal

A New York resident was thrilled when her boyfriend surprised her with a trip to a theme park. However, his sudden public proposal coincided with her finding out he had been cheating throughout their relationship!

On November 25, 2023, a TikTok user named Tiffany Lyn took to the platform to share a shocking story about her cheating boyfriend that occurred around ten years before. Lyn explained that she discovered he was cheating right in the middle of his proposal to her.

In the clip, she revealed that she was madly in love with him and would do anything he asked. After dating for around two years, the TikToker was left shocked when her boyfriend proposed. Lyn explained her reluctance, saying that even though she was madly in love with him, she didn't feel they were ready for such a huge step.

The chain of events that led to Lyn finding out the truth began shortly after they arrived at the Orlando amusement park. Lyn's boyfriend decided to sign up as a contestant in one of the competition games which would see him performing something.

Just as the competition was about to start, Lyn's partner handed over his cell phone. He asked her to film his performance, saying he wanted her to see what was going to happen. The TikTok user confessed that she was excited and thought what her boyfriend was doing was "so cute."

Her boyfriend had to partake in four or five events as he competed against other people to win. Lyn's partner won the competition with her still filming everything with his phone. Suddenly, text messages started popping up on the screen.

The social media user revealed that the messages were from her boyfriend's mistress and that he had been with her the whole time he was dating Lyn. The other woman was quite angry, with the New Yorker guessing that her boyfriend must have informed his mistress that morning that their relationship was over because he was getting engaged.

The irony in the woman's reaction was that she was already married! Lyn's heart dropped, and she felt sick to her stomach reading the texts while still filming and surrounded by a crowd of people.

Her partner proudly announced his proposal to everyone in attendance while Lyn stood there, knowing the truth. The messages left the social media user traumatized, but she doesn't like people seeing her upset, so she kept her cool.

Lyn reacted by smiling and pretending to be elated about the proposal broadcast on a big screen. The woman received congratulatory messages from strangers around her, and she managed to keep her composure when she walked outside the venue to wait for her boyfriend.
