Wyatt Russell and his wife shared some exciting news with the world this weekend with the further expansion of their little family. Fans have sent their love and well wishes to the couple.

Hollywood's beloved couple, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, are going to become grandparents once again. Their son Wyatt Russell and his wife Meredith Hagner have shared some heartwarming news with the world, announcing the arrival of their newest family member.

The announcement came via an endearing Instagram post from Meredith and Wyatt Russell, showcasing the first glimpse of their newborn baby boy, named Boone Joseph Russell. Little Boone arrived on February 13, a full week ahead of his expected due date, weighing in at a healthy eight pounds and three ounces.

Boone charmed the public immediately, and his arrival was met with boundless love and excitement from family, friends, and fans. Comments flooded in, celebrating the baby. "Are you kidding me? That's so darn cute!" wrote a fan. "The most beautiful family! Inside and out! So happy for you all!” another added.

While some fans were admiring the family, others could not help but notice the unique name of the boy. "Love the name congratulations!!!" someone wrote. "So beautiful!! LOVE the name! Thrilled for you all sending lots of love" another fan agreed.

The name Boone reportedly means "lucky" or "blessing." The baby is indeed lucky to be born into such a loving family, and social media users have offered what they think led to the couple choosing that specific name.

"Love his name! Like Boone, NC!" a commenter posted. Coincidentally, the baby's mother, Meredith, was born in North Carolina.

Little Boone is not the only one in the family with a unique name. His 2-year-old brother, the firstborn in the family, is named Buddy Prine Russell.

"It's incredible," said Wyatt about fatherhood in an interview, after Buddy was born. "Biologically, I think it does something to your brain where you just erase half your life before you've lived there," he explains. "And now it's about him and your family and trying to balance everything, and time and new, amazing problems, amazing issues to have."

Kurt Russell, a grandpa of eight, affectionately known as "Gogi'' by his grandchildren, also shared his thoughts on their growing family.

"He's awesome, 'cause he can do all of the hard sorts of lessons that, like, sometimes I don't want to have to do," Wyatt gushed about his dad in an interview.

As the Russell family celebrates the newest addition, they are surrounded by love and support. With Kurt Russell's guidance, Wyatt and Meredith happily embrace their roles as parents.

Goldie is so dedicated to being a grandmother that she admitted to no longer giving her children advice. Instead, she's moved on to teaching her grandchildren by example.

"You've got to work for a living, stay compassionate, and stay realistic," she said. "I'm passing that on because that was what my father taught me: stay in reality."
