Fans immediately took to the comment section to share their thoughts. They wrote, "The girls look so happy" and "Oh Charlize these photos are great and your girls are so cute. Thanks for sharing, love you❤❤️🤗🤗."
Others commented, "Your girls are so beautiful 💕," "The girls are getting so big and beautiful!! Have a great adventure," "BEST MOM EVER," and more. Some of her fans wished her a happy vacation as she wrote in the caption of her post that she had activated spring break mode.
When Charlize decided to adopt, she was not married. The actress hoped she would find someplace that would allow her to adopt as a single parent. She was also not picky about where the kids came from. Luckily for the star, her daughters, born in the United States, are African Americans.

She remarked, "Everything that I hoped would happen during my adoption process did happen because these two babies were meant to be in my life — and they're my children." In 2019, she noted that the concept of what a family should look like needed to be worked on.
The actress acknowledged that she had bad days and made mistakes.

Charlize said people feel a family should be traditional and children should have both parents. However, even though they have gradually accepted children having two mothers or two fathers, they have yet to fully accept the concept of single parenting.

While she finds it unfortunate, she stated that she knew many people who would do good jobs as parents but did not have that opportunity. It was easier for her to adopt kids as a single parent, but she would want all women who want to be parents to be able to do so easily.

When Charlize Theron initially adopted her first child, Jackson, she reportedly thought the child was a boy. However, things changed when Jackson was three. Jackson told Charlize she was not a boy and has been raised as a girl since.

Charlize expressed that thinking of having a child in her twenties was a scary idea. However, in her thirties, she was ready to be a parent. Despite being keen, the actress sometimes had doubts. She said, "Oh God, I hope once I have my kids, I'm still going to want to be a parent this much."
The actress acknowledged that she had bad days, made mistakes, and went through tantrum stages with her kids. These tantrums sometimes happened at the worst moments.

However, even though she felt overwhelmed sometimes and knew it was a lot for one person, she would not have made a different choice. Charlie noted, "But after six years of having my two nuggets, there's not a day when I wish I hadn't done this."
