Fans have called Megan Fox's three sons the "most beautiful kids ever" after seeing them in a candid bedroom picture shared by their father online. However, social media users also discussed why they "look like girls," and wondered why a certain someone wasn't included in the photo. Both Green and Fox have shared reflections on parenting their children.

Three days ago, famous actor Brian Austin Green took to Instagram to post a heartwarming dedication to his fiancée Sharna Burgess for Mother's Day. Though the intention behind his Mother's Day tribute was special enough, what made the picture rare was the appearance of four of his sons, three of whom he shares with Hollywood star Megan Fox.

In the picture, Sharna is surrounded by Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom, and Journey River Green, as well as the son she shares with Brian, Zane Walker Green.

All five of them were snuggled up in bed and appeared to be looking at something in the distance, except for little Zane who looked directly at the camera. Alongside the adorable snap, the patriarch penned an endearing caption.

"You stepped into this world (which could not have been farther from the one you knew) and have become the rock of this family. You are an incredible mother and fiancé and we all love you to death 😊 Happy Mother's Day baby ❤️❤️," expressed Brian. Upon seeing his heartfelt post, fans could not stop swooning over how precious his sons are.

"Those are the most beautiful kids ever," gushed a fan, while another gave the same compliment. On the other hand, some social media users had questions about the appearances of Megan and Brian's children.

"No one is doing the boys a favor by allowing them to look like little girls and dress like girls. You're damaging them in the long run," asserted an Instagrammer. Echoing the same sentiment, another pondered, "Why do they look like girls??" while someone else said, "Why [...] don't [you] cut their hair, they are boys."

Other people diverted their focus to the fact that Brian had not included Megan in his Mother's Day shoutout. They felt that the "Transformers" star should have been given props as a mom, seeing that she is the mother of three out of the four boys in the photo.

"Shouldn't this be to Megan? 😂" asked a social media user. Following suit, another stated, "As sweet as this is [you] should still do a shout out to their actual mom." Among the flurry of comments, there were also people who mentioned Sharna directly; they made statements about the relationship she shares with Megan's sons as their stepmom.

"That boy at the far right is Megan's twin 😮wow he looks identical to her. I'm surprised these boys are comfortable laying there with the step mom most boys would be [like] no way [you're] not my mom," commented a user.

Continuing to speak about Sharna and Megan, another Instagrammer wrote, "So happy for you !! She seems like a great mom! Do they ever even see their mom? So sad 😞."

For those who expressed concern regarding Megan's maternal role in her sons' lives, both she and Brian Austin Green have confirmed that they co-parent just fine. Last month, the doting dad opened up about how he and his ex-wife make things work for the sake of their kids.

Speaking about what he believes to be an instrumental key to successful co-parenting, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor divulged, "The number one is always make sure that everything is centered around the experience of the kids."

He then got candid about how people shouldn't be fooled into thinking that when parents separate, there are ways to eliminate the separation's adverse effects on their children.

"Of course it's gonna affect the kids. The only choice you have is how it affects the kids," Brian explained. Far from sweeping the fact that he and Megan divorced for a substantial reason under the rug, Brian added, "You guys are separated for a reason because you didn't get along. So, you can't expect to then get along after the fact in raising your kids."

"So, you have to decide, 'OK, it's not about us getting along anymore. It's about us co-parenting, which is a totally different situation," he finished. As for Megan's reflections on co-parenting, the "Jennifer's Body" actress highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive perception of her kids' father for their sake.

"I think it's really important when people separate to never ever disparage the other parent or even in a passive aggressive way, make remarks. I don't let anything in my energy like that when I'm around my kids because if I don't accept and love their father I'm rejecting a part of them because he's a part of who they are always," Megan disclosed last year on "The Drew Barrymore Show."

She also mentioned that in her being "very loving with him and about him," their children are granted "the freedom to be happy" because they are unburdened by their parents' problems with each other. Megan also opened up about her boys in an interview conducted last year, in which she echoed a similar sentiment.

The doting mom discussed her book of poems, "Pretty Boys Are Poisonous," and noted the lessons she wants Noah, Bodhi, and Journey to take away from it. She started by addressing that she wants to raise her sons to be completely different from the men she's been with in her life.

Megan Fox went on to share how she wants her sons to grow up to have healthy relationships where they have "a very deep emotional intimacy" with their partners. "It's very important to me that they are not liars, that they are able to be fully transparent and honest and respectful," she continued.

As their "first introduction into women," Megan takes her role as a mother very seriously. She recognizes the significant influence she has on them, especially when it comes to how she loves and treats them. It is her hope that the way she engages with her sons will allow "them to love in a really healthy way."
