Mindy Schneider, a television writer, revealed in her memoir, "Not a Happy Camper" that her mom, wanted her to have a nose job done by the same doctor who did Thomas'.
Schneider recalled that her mom said Thomas, "had a nose job" done by Dr Silver on Madison Avenue. The writer's mom added, "He gives everyone that little upturned nose. Makes 'em all look like shiksas. You'll go to someone else. Yours will look real. I'm getting some names."

So, Thomas' plastic surgery made her nose appear like it wasn't real or natural. This appearance is reflected in how her nose looks in her older years versus how it would have looked had she not had a nose job done as per AI.
Still, the actress is adamant that people should be left to do to their bodies what they want without judgments, comments, and criticisms from others.
