Tori Spelling's Son 'Looks Like Male Version' of Mom as He Flaunts Long Curly Hair at Graduation

One of Tori Spelling's sons has been hailed as the "male version" of her. The curly-haired boy recently achieved a momentous milestone, which his mom celebrated on Instagram. Although Tori adores all her children equally, she previously revealed why her second youngest holds a special place in her heart.

Congratulations are in order for the son of Hollywood ex-couple Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. The 11-year-old recently graduated from elementary school, and his proud mom took to Instagram to mark it with a lovely picture, on June 11. Followers praised Finn Davey McDermott and pointed out his resemblance to Tori.

Posing against a striking blue streamer background that also had 2024 silver balloons placed in front of it, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star lovingly held onto her beloved son's shoulders as she smiled for the camera. Exuding swagger, Finn, who rocked his long, curly hair loose, gave two thumbs-up as he posed for the photo.

Dressed appropriately for the occasion—as Tori made abundantly clear in her caption—Finn wore a long-sleeved shirt, black cargo ¾ shorts, and Adidas sneakers. His mom, on the other hand, opted for a glam-rock look, wearing a cute, long dress and Doc Martens-inspired boots.

Alongside the mother-son photo, she captioned, "And, just like that I have a 5th grade graduate… Finn Davey I'm so proud of you! Bye elementary school and hello middle school. I love you chat! Disclaimer to the haters: Dress code was shorts FYI bc they had student/teacher kickball aka sports day right b4."

One person who saw Tori's picture marveled at how strikingly similar Finn looks to his mother, writing, "He really looks like male version of what Tori looked like when she was his age."

Other fans congratulated the new graduate and swooned over how beautiful his curls looked. "I'm jealous his hair is gorgeous! Congratulations bud! 😁," praised an admirer.

When it comes to defining the relationship the handsome boy and Tori share, the recent graduation snap gives only a glimpse into their special bond. Although Tori deeply loves every single one of the five children she shares with Dean McDermott, the doting mom is particularly protective over Finn.

She has explained why this is the case on different occasions. In 2020, Tori, who was still in a relationship with Dean at the time, revealed, "Because of what Finn and I went through medically — it was a rough pregnancy — I may not consciously know it, but at home I'm usually behind him going, 'Wha! Wha! Wha!' and Dean is like, 'Please stop gasping!'"

Tori even admitted that Dean had told her once that she was more protective of Finn than she was of his three older siblings, Liam Aaron, Stella Doreen, and Hattie Margaret McDermott when they were younger. The year after she made those statements, she reiterated their close relationship in an Instagram post.

On Finn's ninth birthday, the mother of five dedicated a lengthy message to her beloved son, which gave further insight into why they are so close. "He's my miracle baby. We fought together for survival and he's my warrior! [...] Finn's heart is ginormous and his soul is so beautiful," she wrote.

She continued, "He was the first of my babies to get my brown eyes. We twin inside and out in so many ways. Except, I aspire to be the human he is. You are magical Finn Davey [...] Love you with all my heart and soul."

It is worth mentioning again that, although Finn may hold a special place in Tori Spelling's heart, so do his siblings, which includes his younger brother, Beau Dean McDermott.

The loving mom constantly boasts about all her children, and she is frequently seen spending time with them. One such instance is at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert in December 2023, where photos of Tori's kids prompted harsh criticism from the public for how they looked.

For the event, Tori wore a red and black sequined top and matching skirt and paired her ensemble with knee-high boots. Her children dressed more casually.

Stella rocked baggy jeans and a black crop top that exposed her mid-section, while Hattie donned a white T-shirt, olive shorts, and white Crocs.

Tori's red carpet appearance with her kids came a few months after she and her family moved into an RV at a Ventura County campground due to a mold infestation in their residence. Two sources shared their knowledge of Tori's situation, calling the RV move a "mini vacation rather than a living situation."

However, both insiders claimed that Tori was struggling financially. In July 2023, she leaned on her mom, Candy Spelling, for support amid her marriage troubles. According to a source, Candy, who helped Tori with her split from Dean, reassured her daughter that finances wouldn't be a problem.
