Many are buzzing over Robert Irwin's appearance at an awards ceremony with a 56-year-old actress he brought as his red carpet date. Photos of the colleagues come after he revealed the current status of his love life.

Setting the red carpet of the 64th TV Week Logie Awards ablaze, Robert Irwin, 20, looked dashing in his all-black suit in Sydney, Australia on August 18. The young star was accompanied by famous blonde actress Julia Morris, who looked beautiful in a red dress. The public is raving over the duo's appearance.

Taking to Instagram to share exciting moments from the glitzy affair, Robert shared several glimpses of his and Julia's time there.

From stunning images of the two posing for pictures to footage of the duo acting goofy on the carpet, Robert's carousel post intrigued his followers. One silly moment was when Robert did the worm dance while his "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!" co-star got down on the floor.

"A night to remember. Thanks @ladyjuliamorris and thank you, Logies. Last pic is a mood," Robert penned in his caption.

The last photo that the 20-year-old conservationist was referring to in his caption showed a hilarious moment in which he was seen pretending to be asleep on the red carpet and Julia, who looked shocked, appeared as though she had fallen.

Robert shared another post of the event on Instagram. This one is a video compilation showcasing more eye-catching moments from the award show. "This is where the fun begins," Robert expresses to the camera before the video reel begins.

From there different snapshots are shown. Robert is seen strutting his stuff on the carpet, spinning around before pointing to the camera for a slow-motion video.

Other moments feature Robert and Julia exuding dynamic duo energy with their mics as they interact with each other and the fans that were there.

Another standout moment captured depicts Robert amid a crowd of people who were cheering on a live band as confetti rained down on them.

"Perfect way to spend a Sunday night 👌🎉," Robert captioned alongside the reel. Upon seeing the posts Robert shared, many flooded social media comment sections with praise.

"Love that you went from our crocodile research trip to the red carpet! What a great night. Super proud of you!" gushed Robert's doting mom, Terri Irwin.

Bringing Robert's late legendary father, Steve Irwin, into the mix, a fan wrote, "Your father would be so amazingly proud of the wonderful man you have become."

"@robertirwinphotography JAMES BOND perhaps??? 👏🔥" complimented another admirer. Many commended Julia as well, praising her beauty and noting how well-matched she and Robert are as colleagues.

"I wasn't sure how Julia and Robert would work[.] They seem to click, well done, you are true professionals!🤗," applauded a fan on Instagram.

Echoing the sentiment another supporter swooned, "The two are a match made in heaven love watching you both together enjoy your night and see you back next year."

One observer seems to think Julia may want to be more than just friends with her co-host as they mentioned, "I don't know who that lady in the red dress is (who is beautiful btw) but she [low-key] has a crush on you. 😂."

Someone who was particularly emotional about Julia and Robert's appearance commented, "I'm not from Australia who is the beautiful woman he is with and she is such a good sport and in it with him I love this family and literally grieved with them when Steve passed away. Our family was devastated. He is so proud of his family I just know it (sic)."

Steve's talented son and his 56-year-old co-host had attended the Logies because they were both nominated for awards.

On June 24, Robert posted an Instagram video in which he boasted about how "incredibly honored" he was to have been nominated for the Gold Logie and the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter. He also made it a point to give his co-host a shoutout for being nominated, too.

Unfortunately, Robert was bested by Australian TV presenter Larry Emdur for the Gold Logie. Emdur also took home the second award Robert was nominated for—the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter. Emdur won with his shows "The Chase Australia" and "The Morning Show," on Seven Network.

Although Robert did not take home any of the awards he was nominated for, he and Julia are still happy with their show "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!" The duo also enjoy working together.

Speaking about their working relationship with a host from the chat show "The Project," Robert divulged, "It's been really cool because it feels like such a collaboration and such a team effort [...] It's really this wonderful kind of chemistry that just all of a sudden, just worked."

Continuing, Robert said, "Our friendship is here; we honestly really really do actually like each other, so that's a big plus." Chiming in with a joke, Julia marveled at Robert's patience with her because she said she's been occasionally told that she is an "acquired taste."

The two engaged in more playful banter which ended with Julia pretending to be offended by a joke Robert had made. He quipped about how working on the show with her has been his wildest experience yet, despite him having an extensive background working with wildlife.

Recently, Robert has been riding a high in terms of all the success he has garnered from his career. This juxtaposes the tough time he went through just a few months ago (early 2024) when he called it quits with his former girlfriend Rorie Buckley.

After over a year of dating, Rorie and Robert constructed a joint statement announcing their breakup, which got shared on Robert's since-expired Instagram Story.

"We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all of the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future," reads a part of their statement.

The ex-couple also made it clear how much gratitude and respect they hold for each other as they continue on their own journeys. "We won't be commenting further on this, and really appreciate your respect and privacy at this time," they concluded.

Robert and the late and great Heath Ledger's niece had first been romantically linked back in November 2022. However, they had only gone public in July of the following year (2023) at the Sydney premiere of "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One."

Rorie had also gotten close with Robert's family, particularly with his older sister, Bindi Irwin. Robert's ex was even featured in one of Bindi's social media posts where she called Rorie a "beautiful friend," and the "sweetest soul."
